I'm not sure what Jelavic brings to the party other than being a useful sub, but re-signing Song on loan is a great bit of business. Moses is an interesting one, but until we know how WHU lineup can only really be considered a rotation risk.Terry Henry wrote:West Ham have done some great business today. Song, Moses and Jelavic.
If they revert to 4312 when Zarate or Carroll are fit again then there'll only be one place for one of Obiang/Lanzini/Moses/Noble (I can't see Payet, Song or Kouyate not making the lineup) and if it's 433 like last game then only space for two of them.
Maybe Kouyate is on the way to Spurs afterall?

De Gea move has officially collapsed.
As deal is off the first thing United should do is demand he extends his contract by 12 months or spend the next 8 months in the reserves or u19 squad.
The leverage they have is the Euro championships next summer, hardly the ideal preparation for De Gea.

Football Manager are having a big advertising push today - not only are the 'sponsoring' the transfer clock on SSN (whatever that means), they've also got a guy on the BBC Sport feed giving signing ratings based on how they are in FM. Bizarre.
Interesting to see former FPL winner Simon March also getting a spot on BBC's feed - pity what he's saying is so designed for mass appeal.

All I can say is thank goodness they arranged Transfer Deadline Day to coincide with the start of the International Break.
Or was it the other way around?
(I am waiting for Mourinho to claim that he had been persuaded by the rest of the Premier League to give them a few points start, and that the season for him really begins in a fortnight's time. I just hope that Hazard hasn't been crocked in training by DeBruyne in the meantime. Or maybe I do.)

Interested to see how this thing will affect to De Gea. Does he have the motivation to play or is he going to sit whole season at the stands? I think if he wants to be Spain's goalkeeper in Euro2016 he will need to play this season.

If this has officially collapsed, have to say I feel sorry for De Gea. He really got screwed around by the clubs', in particular RM who tried to play a game of chicken with the deadline.JoonaR16 wrote:Interested to see how this thing will affect to De Gea. Re: Transfer deadline day(s) chat
Ha ha. Skyssports news are now actually using the Football Manager stats to compare signings. Martial only has finishing 13 out of 20, oh dear. How does that compare to Hernandez? Hector's tackling number out of 20 isn't as good as John Stones.
Journalism from the Gods!
The funny thing is they're advertising it as some amazing source of data that they personally have access too, with over 250 bits of data per player, sourced by over 13000 scouts from round the world. Or your local HMV...
They're minutes away from "Martial is rated 73 on FIFA"....

Lazy journalism, they should at least look up his PA rating out of 200 on the database editor. Pogba's was in the top category a few years ago, being assigned a value of between 180 and 200.

Re: Transfer deadline day(s) chat
Embarrassing that they are using Football Manager most of those stats were probably conjured up over 12 months ago before the latest version came out. Its just Lazy and makes Sky Sports news look like a small time channel. What next BBC looking up FIFA stats on FUTHEAD
I used to be a big fan of CM and then FM but recently it seems they have struggled to come up with ideas, i didnt even bother with the latest version. They should go to releasing a game every 2 years and selling a £5 update in between, but the money men wouldnt allow that.
Also i became fed up with every version being totally unplayable due to the bugs and glitches, no point buying FM until its been out for at least 4 months
You premier league teams are lucky us championship teams are covered by the SSN work experience lad

Payet is different class. No chance he won't start. If anything, playing with Song, Moses, Antonio and Jelavic (instead of Maiga) will only increase his points potential.HQ Manoeuvre wrote:West Hams midfield is going to look a bit busy. As a Payet owner should I be concerned?

FPL Towers are on the ball with the transfer market, most if not all of the new players are listed and valued. They value Martial (MUN) at 8.0, rated about as good as Bony, Lukaku or Pelle you might say.

WBA chairman is a tough business man, Spurs were taking the piss with there 5 million upfront and the rest add-on bids. They were never going to accept it, Saido can throw his toys out the pram all he likes but it wont hurt the club to sit him in the reserves for a few weeks, They have rondon and Lambert its not like he is the be all and end all at the club.

Joe Bennett signed for Bournemouth on loan to cover for their left back crisis. Should be a starting 4.0 defender for a few games.

Antonio in at £6.0m. Might be a bit soon to transfer him in yet but as goal-scoring winger he's worth keeping an eye on.

Wouldn't be so sure, hopefully Daniels will only miss one game. I don't know whether Adam Smith would want to play out of his favoured position. In The Wealth of Nations he was always a big fan of specialisation and division of labour.
