FPL Prayer Mat

Post by sligorover »

Dear FPL Gods,

Please grant us an Arsenal clean sheet tonight with goals from Gallas and assists from Rosicky. Please rest Gerrard and Ronaldo this weekend but let Tevez and Lamps flourish in an orgy of goals and clean sheets.

Thank you o powerful one,

You faithful servant,
sligorover (29pts GW15)

Please also grant us a couple of goals from Mr Adabeyor also. Maybe awarding the key contributions to Bacary Sagna.

1-0 to the Toon please.

I usually don't wish others ill but soooo many people in my league have capped or are playing Adebayor that I need this in the worst way.

Almighty Father,

I am pleading with you in my hour of need, please help Willam Gallas to score a goal tonight & get a clean sheet as well. Which would really help his good friend Manuel Almunia.

And if you see fit to strike down Cristiano Ronaldo with the plague, then so be it!

Thank you!

Your only chance of that would've been in cards... but Graham Poll's retired.

Oh Powerful one,

You do not like us for sure but I have served my penance by sticking with Gallas and by leaving Green on the bench last week.

This week i simply ask for a Villa clean sheet and a goal+assist+some boni from Martin Petrov. Let the big 4 players Gerrard and Ronaldo rest themselves but reward hard working brother Samba with a headed goal from a corner.

Your faithful servant,
sligorover

Oh powerful one,

You have ignored our simple plea's but given the season thats in it please grant Villa and Newcastle a clean sheet and young Kevin Doyle a brace.
Please rest Gerrards limbs as he has a cold.

Your servant,
sligorover

Your last prayer asked for a Villa CS, bupkiss, and some points for Petrov, which did come true. You also mentioned how your Gallas request the week before went unanswered, and then the lord gifted you a Gallas CS & goal. But you also had your Samba (-1) request firmly rejected.

So you're about 50-50 for your divine requests last week. The lord giveth and the lord taketh away, eh? :D

Hey Big Guy,

Can I have a 1-0 result between Man City and Villa? But Petrov needs to get the goal with Laursen and Dunne both picking up the boni.

Oh, also, seeing as I have actually captained Fab this week, he needs at least 1 goal 2 assists and 3 boni.

Cheers Chief.

I think some of these prayers are getting way too specific for divine intervention.
