GW19 Captain

Post by Ruth_NZ »

Not so far away so may as well get this up. :)

There might be a few takers for other candidates but they can go under Other.

Can't easily see past KdB but am oddly attracted to the idea of captaining a West Ham player.

Like most people who wildcarded over x-mas for a FH18 I have zipperty Man City coverage.

looking like Vardy(C) Salah(V) - IF Vardy looks like he can manage 2 games (& that's a big IF)
Salah to KDB for a hit looks very sideways especially losing a trolley load of TV if i ever want Salah back.

So, next time you do it then. :|

Tell me who you want added and I'll do so. Or vote 'other' and name the player in the comments, like most civil people do.

Salah against Burnley + his custom 2 pointer against utd. Whats not to like about that. Any Salah(less) teams this week prepare to get roasted alive. Dont need kdb this week. No way he will play more than 90 mins over the two games. Expecting nothing more than an assist from him, and at the cost plenty more options available to cover that

where are any chelsea players on your list for example? Two great fixtures for them. Werner, Ziyech, Pulisic etc. Yes they might not be popular picks but im sure worthy of a mention at the very least

I originally put Werner in and then took him out again because I didn't expect him to get much support. The problem is that any of the three Chelsea players you mentioned could be chosen, there isn't an obvious one or two. That situation is generally what the 'Other' button is used for.

KDB can have his rest in the FA cup after the double GW! I'm thinking of triple captaining him, still have all my chips so might as well use one 8-) (no bench boost as my subs ain't worth jack and no 2nd keeper)

So KDB (C) Bruno (VC) and possibly triple captain.

Isn't it possible City v Villa is postponed?

Yeah I suppose it is but most of the Villa staff and players should be back by the 17th I think. Plus if Villa have a mix of youth players and some 1st team guys it could be a tasty fixture for City.

At the moment it is

KDB (c)
? (vc),

but with so many cancellations it will be all last minute decisions. Last week I missed the deadline and did not make the final intended change on my wc. Hopefully I does not happen again this week.

Looking at my team I instantly thought Salah but I am bringing in Soucek so he will get a smidgen of consideration.

Bit of a tough one this week. KDB looked a shoe in, but there could be a chance he only plays once given the tiredness comments?

Don't own either Salah or Vardy, possibly the best two candidates over all, so I guess maybe Bruno or a punt on Antonio might be next in line for me.

about Vardy, yes a great option but the likelihood that he plays more than a full game and a bit of the two is slim i would say. Rodgers will rotate with an fa cup fixture against brentford the following wknd. He may want vardy primed and ready for that, who knows

Salah is the default choice for me.
The other option I'm considering, who isn't on the poll, is Ruben Dias!

Until Pepe made the ‘Kevin is tired’ comment I was definitely triple captaining him. Maybe just having him will be enough though if he’s in line for a rest?
Salah or Bruno TC are less appealing as they play each other so I may keep the Chip

The band will be on the wrong one of those three!

He will bring him off in both games after 70 mins when the game is won and then rest him in the Fa cup next weekend.

It all went well.
Kev played both games
They hit the heights.
In lights their names

But stop, what that?
Paw down in flames?
Cos’ Paw backed Mo.
Which was an illogical thing to do just to be different to Stevie and doesn’t even rhyme

Why is an Asenal forward commenting on a City midfielder's physical state?
