DGW 19 Transfer Thread

My head hurts! Been wanting to dump Watkins and Adams for a while. Want to get Bamford in longer term. For better or worse playing BB this week, so keeping Watkins for now.

Have brought in Antonio for Adams.

Thinking about a - 4 to bring Stones in for C Taylor. More likely to do if Taylor only playing Liv this week. Could pay this week and longer term. But prices me out of Watkins to Bamford next week, which is stalling me.

I could just about afford Antonio to Bamford for next week though as an alternative.

This just takes up too much of my brain space.

Any thoughts please?

Stick with your strikers and get Stones if you want a 5+ regular starter. Otherwise, Taylor is good as a 4.5 too.

Not a transfer I’d make in a normal week, but it just felt too risky going without KDB with the all the likely triple captains.

Do I -4 or -8 to get KDB (eg. Robertson > Stones, Son > KDB) or do I just do something boring like McCarthy > Areola. Ideally I'd like to shift one of the Leeds Def's too.

Any thoughts?

The Robertson & Son to Stones & KDB sounds well worth the -4 to me. Don't fancy Son to do a deal against Blades and 2 x KDB fixtures should easily make up the -4 hit.

He'll almost certainly be rested for at least one of the game, he looked completely knackered last game and City should win either of these fixtures without him.

Hoping Vardy doesn't! Although there is still an impulsive part of me wanting to bring him in for Kane at the last minute!

Did Barnes Foden for some city coverage and later Walker-Peters Stones for a hit ... but not sure of I saved the lineup regig before the deadline - so Stones is either on the pitch with Holding first sub or he's 3rd on the bench himself

Didn't BB as planned as I hope there'll be a huge fixture pileup later in the season and, due to the plague, I'll be keeping a fully active bench so there should be other opportunities for it later.

Yes, one thing I've noticed is that I've been rolling with a much deeper bench for the past few weeks. So I agree it isn't going to be as difficult to pivot to a bb as in previous seasons.

If that's true I'm hoping he's off the bench for the second game? Pep seems to be bringing him back into the fold slowly.

He screwed you over. Actually he didn't, it's to be expected with any City player apart from Ederson and KDB.

I said he'd screwed Foden over didn't I? Foden gets a more raw deal than most. Look at his minutes to a goal/assist and his performances in the last couple of games, yet he's still dropped in a heartbeat.
