DCL

Post by cymbalrush84 »

One goal in the last 7 GWs, blanks in the last 2 - despite assists - could he be susceptible to being dropped from Everton’s XI? Callum Wilson and Bamford’s prices looking more attractive and cheaper options, Laca has tastier fixtures.

Stick or twist?

This. Coupled with a tough fixture list.
He’ll not be dropped

But I dropped him five or six game weeks ago and haven’t regretted it. Bamford and Wilson have both matched or bettered his scores

No chance DCL is dropped from their team. Who are they gonna start instead, Tosun?

I'm happy to keep him for now, mainly because he actually has a fixture in GW18, but also because I don't think any of the alternatives are necessarily better. It's an easy transfer to Bamford if I need the funds, but until then I think he'll at least match him.

Jamez and Richarlison are back. He’s a hold for me.

Yeah the time to drop him was when his supply all got injured. Now with James back and Digne poised to return chances are he'll be back in the goals again.

Should have dropped him weeks ago but he will score goals again. He's good enough and has the belief to get past it.

4 games all season with no attacking return. Even though his goals have dried up in the last 5, he has still been chipping in with a few assists.

He won't be chipping in with anything, this week.

Anyone considering holding him? FH 18 and bench him 19, dependent on other factors of course. Considering Everton are not in Europe, he's a stable asset I don't want to give up.

He is now flagged with a hamstring injuries, if it helps you to make your decision.

I thought it was a hamstring, but yes, it could have affected them.

I'm holding. FH this week, bench next week and then take stock. His supply line is now back on line so worth a hold.

I got rid. Bought him at 7m, but he dropped last night which felt like a good time to cash in given the lack of a return date and the imminent DGW.
