I have Chilwell, Lamptey, James, Mitchell in defence and Danny Ings upfront. Not been a kind week of injuries.

Depending on severity of them all, will probably take a -8 for something like
Ings  Adams
Chilwell  Robertson
Lamptey  Dias

How are both he and Burnley looking?

I had him pencilled in too as an option with the DGW in mind, but they haven’t been scoring much.

Back to the Burnley we all know and love

Solid at the back and last night we created some decent chances. The goal last night should give Wood the confidence to go on and make the most of the good fixtures coming up, starting with kamikaze Leeds on Sunday.

Good enough for Pope at about £1m over base price? Looking at DGW options (but would miss his next two great fixtures against Blades and Fulham)

With Chillwell injured im now instead looking at Chillwell -> TAA as i have The exact founds in bank.

Even IF Chillwell just out 1 game I could see me live without Chelsea defence until Gw 20 with TAA as replacement.
After that I could instead move for James and save 0.2-0.3 instead of going back to Chillwell

I'm also looking at Pope. He's probably too expensive for me to roll with all season, but could be good for the next few weeks when I need a second playing GK for the GW19 BB, following which he can be downgraded to a non-playing cheapie at some point.

Chilwell ▶ Dier
Mitchell ▶ C.Taylor

Scored three single points from my back three this week. Lamptey is also on borrowed time.

Chilwell a bit of a problem.

If he’s likely to be fit for DGW then it’s difficult to shift him.

But then need as many bodies as possible for gw15/16/17 for possible rotation.

The thing is in DGW19, lampard could easily troll FPL players with playing Azpi and Emerson for Fullham and The other two vs Leicster.
We dont know but ofc its more likely if both James and Chillwell still recover from Injury that they going to get minutes managed in a DGW.

I don’t think he trust Emerson . A fit Chilwell starts both in the DGW in my opinion .

Was originally...

Watkins  Adams/McGoldrick (only reason I'm considering McGoldrick is he frees up 0.8 which would help to invest elsewhere like a second playing keeper)

Going to give Watkins one more week, though it'z Palace at home, but granted that is a wounded Palace who just took a public spanking!

Just means I roll and have two transfers the week after.

Will you keep him if he scores a hattrick against CPL? I guess not. So we just hope he does score and makes a grand exit.

I suppose if he gets a goal or a brace, I have a bit of a dilemma... but will probably still take him out and it can be a goodbye hurrah!

I'm trying this season to play and use transfers based on form and not snap judgments. And Watkins doesn't seem to have much consistency, or maybe it's Barkley missing or something else.

Mitchell -> 4.9 defender

need someone without a blank in GW18 but not Stones, dont think he’s nailed and I already have Dias

I wanted to roll but I have no bench right now with James injured (would be good to know for how long he’s out...)

anyone looking good for a 6 pointer in GW18?

Looking at 2 options:

For -8
Chilwell  Dias
Jorginho  Burke
KDB  Salah

or
For -4
Chilwell  Stones
KDB  Salah

1st one would need to be done tonight due to price rises for Salah and Burke. Option 2 could wait but probably a bit more risky due to Stones being less nailed than Dias. #1 gives me an extra player for gw18, leaning that way atm.

I’m playing my wildcard next week so looking for a one week punt.

Currently lining up like this with only 0.1 in the bank:

McCarthy
Dias/Zouma/KWP
Salah/Son/Grealish/Neto
Kane/Vardy/Calvert-Lewin

No moves really jump out at me though...

Perhaps Neto to
Walcott (ful) / Raphinha (BUR) / or even C Jones (WBA) if you have a good sub?

Nice suggestions! Justin or Bissouma first sub.

Thinking about Holding personally. He’s cheap enough that you can keep him as your 5th defender after GW18 if Arsenal continue to be rubbish. He’ll prob only be worth 1 point this week however.

Cancelo played 90 mins yesterday, ahead of a spell where they play twice in 48 hrs. I would hope you have good bench cover.
