Great write-up! Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
The fixtures in DGW 24 do not look overly attractive to play a tc, since ManCity and Spurs are playing one another. The only player that would interest me is Kun, but he would have to prove a lot until then.
GW23 looks attractive for a tc on a Leeds player (Bamford?) or on Danny Ings, if you have and trust them.

Re: DGWks etc
Yeah none of them seem especially appealing for a chip like TC. Personally I'll be hanging onto 2 Leeds players and 2 Villa players given they have good fixtures from now anyway, and then staying flexible on adding a couple more if they get DGWs in 23 or 24.
Bear in mind too that there will be a reasonably big DGW26, that will depend on the teams going through in the FA Cup. I'm planning on wildcarding in GW25 so only went that far.

Re: DGWks etc
Villa have a lot to reschedule so would imagine they'd try to get theirs in as and when they can.Nailer6245 wrote: ↑14 Jan 2021, 12:45 An NB caveat on the above - this is all on the basis that they will want to get the rescheduled games played as early as possible. This is likely for the big teams like City & Spurs given how congested their calendars are, but for 'smaller' teams with no European commitments like Leeds-Soton, or Villa-Everton, it's possible they'd just drop those games into free midweeks later in the season. But I think their preference is to get the backlog cleared sooner, and it's worth planning that they'll go into GW23-24.

Not so, not really. The FA are obliged to only use CL/EL slots as a last resort and by agreement with UEFA. On past experience, they will do it but only if there's no other realistic option. This early in the season that's a bit harder to argue.Nailer6245 wrote: GW24 - Yes, midweek slot available, so doubles certain.
I'm not saying there will be no PL games put into GW24 but it's far away from certain.

Agree, City could well be given one but the other teams all have plenty of free midweeks later in the season to play, even Villa. City and Spurs are the teams that could have issues.Ruth_NZ wrote: ↑14 Jan 2021, 17:41Not so, not really. The FA are obliged to only use CL/EL slots as a last resort and by agreement with UEFA. Yes you're right, 'certain' was moreso in reference to City (and imo, Burnley-Fulham) and I did try qualify that by posting after saying that the pressure to have games then will be less for the 'smaller' teams. I guess it's moreso to work on the basis that it's very possible (in some cases very likely imo) that the selected games will be dropped into those weeks and to keep some flexibility for that fact.

Probably not too important. Both teams only play once during the gw, so it could be postponed by a few days.Billy Bongo wrote: ↑14 Jan 2021, 17:50 Weather warning for Leeds Saturday

For a fair while snow matches have been postponed for Supporter Safety, i.e. nothing to do with players, and there will be no supporters at the ground.....Lucky wrote: ↑14 Jan 2021, 17:57Probably not too important. If Leeds v Saints goes into GW23, I might go there. Already have Romeu, could easily bring in Meslier as second keeper and Bednarek as D5. Both Saints and Leeds have decent fixtures before the dgw (new/CPL).
The only problem is the 'if.' Of course, Man City play Liverpool that day so I could bench my assets from those teams

I forgot to press the "Save Your Team" button this GW, so I still have my Bench Boost chip left! Now I need to plan for the next ones... fast! But I'm stupid I think, I don't get it when there will be more DGWs. Can someone help and tell me the different possibilities?
Surely it won't be the same teams as this GW, GW19? And now I want to get rid of the expensive bench players and maximize the starting eleven price, but that will have to wait until I've played my bench boost I feel like. Want to have a DGW with BB NOW! When?
