Back in full training from Monday (been doing light ball work), Poch said no chance for Dortmund but should be in squad for Burnley.

Anyone else thinking they’ll hold Aguero and bench him for GW27? He’s on such good form and his good matches from 28-30.

That was always my intention. Doing the same with KDB although he hasn't scored any additional points for me yet.

I’m now thinking hazard has to go.

Hazard -> 5th mid
Long -> auba

And back to 4-3-3

Hoping for Aguero to go up in price first, Auba went down in price last night.
Or Kane, who may be back.

Going to wait until the FA Cup games have been played but I don't think Alonso or Richarlison will be staying any longer.

Richarlison hasn't taken a single shot in his last 3 games. Given how he stopped scoring altogether in the second half of last season, seems like he's got to go. Not sure who for at the moment.

One option for me, which has just occurred to me, is to downgrade him to a 4.2m mid (Puncheon, Bacuna, CHO) and upgrade Ings to Auba (so I can keep Aguero). Means I lose my current warchest and all flexibility on budget for future transfers though so probably will go another route.

Firstly that’s an awful lot of budget to have not being used but secondly having money in a few premiums does give flexibility as you can jump on and off/downgrade easily.

I’m considering doing something similar to get rid of hazard and do Shane long -> Auba.

Had been planning to sell Kun but not sure now.

Having Kun and Salah makes a tricky captaincy choice after this week.

Plus Kun is more likely to be rotated IMO. He'll miss Newport then is pretty much guaranteed to start Schalke(a) and the Carabao Cup Final but could be rested that following midweek against West Ham - more likelihood than in the recent Everton game IMO anyway, where I felt Pep's hand was forced by absolutely needing to win that game to get back in the title hunt.

That said, you could make a similar argument for Salah for Watford(h).

Digne, S'son and Alonso are all departing my team PDS having stunk the place out for a while, so maybe I will keep Kun. Just need to know the blanks in GW31 before deciding.

Looks like Auba could drop again this week which is amazing considering he is a good captain choice. Wouldn't surprise me if Aguero rises again despite not even having a game.

Without doubt. He's in unstoppable form, and City have some great fixtures after the blank.

I'll be doing Hazard to somebody.

10.8m to spend on a replacement, and already have Son/Mane/Pogba.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Yeah, I'm still spending the Hazard to Son downgrade/upgrade money. Hard to see how Shane Long to Auba could backfire! Upgrades don't get much bigger than that.

Was waiting until the City game on Sunday to decide which of Sterling or Sane needs to go before their blank (benching the other) and it looks like Sane is the one to go.

Think I must be one of the only active players left in the game not to have Pogba. Could've brought him in a couple of weeks ago but decided to go for Son instead as a differential, which looked a good decision last week, but Pogba's double on Saturday hurt me once more.

At this point I wonder if I should just swallow my pride and bring him in for damage limitation, or am I better off going for another differential - say maybe Mane?

I think you're better off going for the player you think will score the most points, but then I've never really understood the whole 'differential' thing anyway (or at least not until the last five GWs or so). Mané has to be on your radar now though, if only because Liverpool have a guaranteed GW31 & 33 whilst Man U probably won't play either of those weeks.

It's Luiz out for me, I think. Probably for TAA.

Have the exact funds at the moment to do either of these options :

Aguero  Augbemayang
Richarlison  Felipe Anderson

Aguero  Lacazette
Richarlison  Son

Really want Son but no way of getting him without taking out Mane or Pogba and I reckon Augbemayang will be the most popular captain next GW so will likely go with option 1 presuming he's fit for the next game.

I was just going to do Aguero  Auba (c) this week and reverse the transfer next week but Kun's price rise has scuppered that idea. I could still do it if I took a hit next week and did Torreira  Camarasa at the same time but not sure it's worth it. I guess there's plenty of time to decide.

Anyone considering Hayden? Cheap, looks to be starting every game, getting reasonable returns, Newcastle have a good run and no blank in GW31??

Already done Sane -> Pogba, should have done it last weekend when I was on the verge of hitting the button Friday night! :(

Got one more free to use. Might hold or might get shot of Lingard who I should have got shot of a long time ago.

Was going to sub Aguero out then back in but think I’ll be holding onto him.
