Why is everyone getting rid of Alonso? The fixtures aren't bad after City & this is Alonso

Also maybe worried about him getting dropped . Most fans seem unhappy with his performances . Had a shocker against Fulham was hooked and Sarri said he needed a word . Now whether Alonso asked for another chance at wolves we don’t know. Anyhow he had another shocker last night and both goals came from him getting exposed .

I need a cheap (4.9 mid) with good fixtures this week and 4 weeks subsequent.

Burnley/Cork fits the bill nicely though I realise their form is patchy to say the least.

He’d have Brighton and West Ham at home in these fixtures - sensible? Is he a rotation risk?

Gunnarson of Cardiff is the other main option I think. They have soton (h) and lei (a) in the relevant weeks.

Any thoughts?

Thanks for the suggestion. He hasn’t scored more than 2 since gw 3, when he scored 5, Man U away in the next (key) fixture and was benched in the last game (albeit played second half). Only 657 minutes all season.

Doesn’t scream out at me - is there anything in his favour apart from Fulham have a new manager (though may not be more attacking).

Despite Cork's performances being way short of what they were last season, he does appear to be undroppable. Having said that, he was much improved last night along with the entire team.

Torreira at Arsenal? Only 4.9!

He's started the last 10 and you won't get better fixtures for the next 4 weeks (HUD, SOU, BUR, bha). He has a goal/assist in his last two at Spurs/Man U.

I almost pressed the button on Murphy at Cardiff, but wanted some Arsenal coverage and didn't realise he was that cheap.

i'd like to get rid of Mane and Arnautovic and bring in Kane and 4.7 midfielder for -4, is there anyone worth considering at that price? or is it best to just replace Arnie with Wilson/Mitro/Jimenez/Hernandez/Perez?

1 dark horse is Camarasa who was angry at not taking cardiff’s Penalty against west ham. Ralls missing would mean he’s a good chance of being on pens. Playing further forward than previously too. Just a thought

thinking of Arnie/Mane to Lacazette/Shaqiri or simply switching Arnie for Chicharito but that seems a bit boring

He was out injured earlier in the season, which is the reason behind his minutes. Rested midweek as three games in a week likely too much for someone recently back from injury. Playing in the no 10 role under Ranieri, possibly on some set pieces.

Camarasa at 4.6 is also worth a shot IMO.
