Re: Who To Bench 18/19
I'd be benching Bennett, not sure he's going to play versus Cardiff tonight.

Re: Who To Bench 18/19
playing AWB and benching Bournemouth assets feels right this week. Leaves me the dilemma of Doherty (car) or Richarlison (liv). Any thoughts please guys? Already playing Patricio so not sure of Wolves defensive double up given their form but higher points potential as I'm playing Robertson who could shut out Richarlison but anything could happen in a Merseyside derby so a hedge your bets approach is tempting

Re: Who To Bench 18/19
Carver - you’ve got the starters right but I would put Wilson at bench 1
Dazzab - yes I’d bench Fraser
Bennett is surely a 90-or-0 type, so can be risked if needed, though I wouldn’t disagree with anyone benching him either.
My challenge is to put my bench lot in the right order:
Balbuena
Camarasa
Diangana
Any advice appreciated.
Apparently I’m a big fan of names that end in A...

Doherty wins that one for me.Joshua82 wrote: ↑30 Nov 2018, 15:42 playing AWB and benching Bournemouth assets feels right this week. Leaves me the dilemma of Doherty (car) or Richarlison (liv). Re: Who To Bench 18/19
xJosh - I would denitely play Jiminez and bench Bennett in your position, I'd probably feel more comfortable with the idea of Wolves scoring than them keeping a CS right now and rumours that Bennett might be dropped anyway. Duffy vs Rich is a close call, I think I'd do the same as you but the idea of anything happening in a Merseyside derbyis niggling so I'm tempted to play Rich myself

Surely Wilson has more chance of scoring than Richarlison?

Re: Who To Bench 18/19
Cal, tough one but I'd probably go Camerasa, Balbuena, Diangana. Home advantage and in form Newcastle defence being the deciding factors. What would make you choose Doherty over Rich out of interest?

Yeh maybe, Bournemouth are capable but still Man City away is arguably the hardest fixture and anything can happen in a derby match

Re: Who To Bench 18/19
Thanks.
I just think Doherty has more chances to score points. Given his position on the pitch, his chances of an attacking return are comparable to those of Rich against LIV’s tight defence. And Doherty also has the ability to get clean sheet points, which Rich lacks.
Personally I am not reading too much into WOL’s last poor result. They’re a mid table side and that’s what you get; they’re not going to return every game. But I see Doherty’s status as an excellent pick (especially if you got him cheap) as unaffected. This may be my endowment bias as a double Wolves defence owner talking...

Jimenez (CAR) vs Richarlison (LIV)
Already played Doherty and Patricio and benching Jimenez.
Right call?

Re: Who To Bench 18/19
Cheers. Yeah, reading back over the last couple of pages I'm thinking I'll play all my Wolves (tonight could be a shocking score). I can either see Robertson keeping a cleansheet or someone like Siggy scoring for Everton so perhaps Richarlison should be benched...
I've got Hazard and Arnautovic, and considering even Aguero could get a rest it might not be a problem.

Re: Who To Bench 18/19
I agree with Stevieste I would be playing Jiminez vs Cardiff if I had him.
and thanks Caf I think you're right Doherty probably has a comparable chance of attacking returns with Rich this week with CS's swinging it his way. FFScout projections has him scoring higher too, 4.0 vs 3.2 points so Rich benched it is. Will be a 5-3-2 formation, feels strange!

Patricio or Fabianski
Newcastle on a good run, so leaning towards benching Fab.

Looks like the real answer was to play them both!

I’d play my attackers, higher upside (and less stress hoping a CS does not get busted!)ekoku wrote:Bench one of Duffy, wilson, or Felipe Anderson this week. All have decent home fixtures!

Play Hart (LIV) or McCarthy (tot)
Think I’m actually going to take a -4 and do one of them to Fabianski, should pay off over their fixture run

Benching Kyal Bennett Success. This bench over this period is not good.
Fearful of TAA, Laporte, Arnie, Sterling rests. Think the rest should be sound.

Re: Who To Bench 18/19
For GW16, play 1 of the 3: Alonso (MCI), Fraser (LIV) or WBS (whm)? Currently I choose Alonso to play with Fraser and WBS as 1st and 2nd sub respectively.

Re: Who To Bench 18/19
I'd back fraser as first sub tbh Bournmouth play so well atm and Fraser is at the heart of most of it. Him and Wilson are the standout players in that team even though its the team as a whole doing well. He could do something against Liverpool, I feel its less likely Alonso could do anything against City

Re: Who To Bench 18/19
This week I'm trying to decide which to bench out of Doherty (new), Laporte (che), Snodgrass (PAL), Wilson (LIV) or one of TAA (bou) or Robbo (bou), any input most welcome! Really at a loss as any of them could do well.

Bench Murray. Brighton's and Murray's away form not great. Wolves returning to a bit of form, Jiminez been contributing regularly and Newcastle were beaten at home comfortably by West Ham
