Wow, just laughable. All the time he needs and he plonks it wide.

I think even he knew he wasn't going to score.

Cracking results for the English clubs. Great for those of us with Son and Kane, Poch can relax and go all out, and the lads will be feeling like the perverbal dogs b*llocks

No great loss, they were dog average from what I've seen. Fluked a win against Spurs in the opening game and couldn't get the job done at home to PSV when a win would ultimately have been enough.

I mean, they couldn't even beat a Dutch team, that's got to be the absolute pits! Right, Joccki?

There is absolutely no need for you to give Ajax such a bad name.

2016-17 let’s not forget Feyenoord's championship win with Dirk Kuyt!! Certainly brought a smile to my face. Didn’t even know he was still playing until I saw him on tv still giving it his all!

That game convinced me of two things - firstly that I'm definitely keeping a Liverpool defender on WC, and secondly that I'm definitely not getting an attacker. Salah really should have more goals and assists this season but it's clear now that he is being hampered by Mane's wild and ridiculously bad finishing and Firmino who can't seem to pass a ball forward to save his life. I believe the hat-trick he scored last week in Mane's absence is no coincidence.

Totally agree Resonare, Mane was left out in the cold last season with his red card and then injury. It allowed Salah to shine. I seriously believe Mane hampers Salah’s returns due to his greed and jealously. He tries the outrageous rather than passing to Salah. I’m not saying Mane is a bad player but it’s a case of too many cooks spoil the broth.

Liverpool are certainly better at the back this season, quality signings and a great keeper have helped take attention away from an attack that isn’t as sharp as it was last season (this isn’t stat backed just going by eye so could be wrong).

Mahrez on the bench and Sané starts his eighth (!) game in a row both international games included. That’s 547 minutes and counting... I’m tempted to take the gamble with Mahrez this GW, again!

I have to wonder if Smalling and Jones would have developed more under Fergie. Fergie spoke very highly of Jones in his early years. Darmian, Rojo, Shaw, Blind, Bailly, Lindelof. A lot of money and effort on players who aren’t clear upgrades on the existing squad. Shaw and Lindelof still have potential, but United could have invested in one Varane or Alderweireld type and brought a lot of stability.

I expect that expensive upgrade is coming in January or the summer in the form of alderweireld or koulibaly

He always had talent but injuries crippled him and he’s never progressed to become more than he was at 18. An athletic, rash defender with concentration and positioning that lets him down

Judging by the way he plays I'm assuming these were brain injuries.

In my head he's still a base price defender who plays for Blackburn.

If he stopped tackling with his head he might have been salvageable by now.

There’s a rumour going on about Manchester City wanting to spend £50m on Ben Chilwell. In January.

And subbed off in the 63rd minute. In my belief that means a start for him against Southampton.

Unlikely with that Emery.

Ive got Lacazette in my team and can see him being benched in favour of Iwobi and Mkhitaryan.

Hope im wrong, but just like Mahrez the other week, i can see this being His last game for me
