David De Gea
Hearing reports from an FPL stream that Mourinho said on Sky after the game tonight that De Gea would be rested vs Watford. Did anyone watch and can therefore confirm this?

Re: David De Gea
yes, JM confirmed that Romero would play:
"It is normal that Michael Carrick is captain at Old Trafford for the last game of his career. David de Gea will be rested, it gives a chance for Sergio Romero to play, I can make changes."
It's a kick in the balls, but at least we know, I'm hoping for a few more managers to be just as candid in the coming pressers. There will be mass changes everywhere, fingers crossed some of them are confirmed before Sunday.

Didn't hear his interview, but I gather he suggested that Smalling will also be rested on Sunday.

Re: David De Gea
Is it worth a hit to replace?
If anything, I’m thinking clean sheets will be at a premium this weekend, so could be futile. So if taking a hit, better to gamble it on an offensive player that can score?
(I don’t have a reserve keeper).

Re: Early Man Utd Team News
Pretty sure he didn't mention Lukaku, simply said Rashford and Martial will start for Sanchez and Lingard

Re: Early Man Utd Team News
As a De Gea, Smalling and Lingard owner this is not ideal!
Guess my free transfer will be going on one of those...

Re: Early Man Utd Team News
Valencia/Smalling/Matic owner here
it was said that Matic was the candidate to make place for Carrick in GW38
does the fact he already dropped off the squad in GW37 change this? (i.e. he paid his rest (?) now it's someone else turn)
or reinforce it? (i.e. he's been dropped for good this season)

maybe FPL Vader forgot last-minute-of-the-SEASON OG in 15/16?
BobMem surely didn't forget

Re: Early Man Utd Team News
Last mention of Lukaku was that they're hoping he can be fit for the FA Cup final, if not to start then at least for the bench.
That to me suggests he definitely won't be fit enough to start on Sunday.

Re: Early Man Utd Team News
Utd tweeted that those five were playing.
Guess the whole selecting process is up in air like our squad and staffing.

Re: Early Man Utd Team News
"The boss has already confirmed the identity of seven starters for Sunday’s game, with Sergio Romero, Eric Bailly, Daley Blind, Michael Carrick, Juan Mata, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial all set to play. But Belgian duo Marouane Fellaini and Romelu Lukaku are unavailable, with the manager hopeful top scorer Lukaku will be fit enough for at least a place on the bench in next week’s final."
