Am torn between 2 options

1. Mahrez to Zaha
The Leicester man has looked way off the pace, despite the late goal against Arsenal, and has a tough fixture; Zaha the opposite. But with Barnes injured I'll have to start all of Lingard, Groß and Son.

2. Barnes to J Ayew
Lets me bench 1 of the 3 above (Lingard I guess; unlikely to start). Ayew doesn't have the upside of Zaha but this feels more sensible when my bench includes 1 non-starter (Smalling) and 1 with an awful fixture (Morgan).

I don't see it justified to take a -4 and do both. I just don't. Thoughts please!

Think I'm going to take a risk and not bring in Salah. Had a bad couple of weeks and top 1k looking very unlikely now. I think I'll be bringing in Zaha and rashford with sterling captain and hope that Liverpool are quiet.

8pt hit to bring in Romero, Salah and Alexander Arnold for Pope, Eriksen and Smalling.

Worth it? My sub keeper won’t play (Hart). People chasing me have Salah (could easily get a goal and assist) and with Smalling being rested my covering defenders are Naughton, Ogbonna or Long.

Bit risky transferring Eriksen out before a home fixture against an out of sorts Leicester team?

True. He’s my most expensive midfielder to enable Salah though and I also have Kane. Or in a similar move I could ditch Vardy and bring in Firmino and take the risk of running without Salah...

So you'd play
1. Zaha+Lingard (only Morgan on bench)
-vs-
2. Mahrez+JAyew (with Lingard+Morgan on bench)
somehow I like #2 better, but I'm having a terrible season!

Both:
Zaha+JAyew (with Lingard+Morgan on bench)
You'd be gambling on Zaha's form to outscore Mahrez by 4+p... :?

So, I'm trailing in ML by 5p, and I'd like to defend top 200k (197.5k now). I *should* have some goal to play for...
But as I posted few weeks ago, the end of the world (season) is nigh, no is here now, why don't we have sex?
i.e. I have this devilmaycare feeling to hit freely without much reflection.

Can't afford to bring back Salah nor Hazard
(if not hitting to downgrade J to J (-esus to Ayew))

Had to pick 3rd def from
Bednarek (doubt) Chilwell (BIG doubt) Smalling (OUT)

Had to pick 4th mid from
Matic (big doubt?) Kenedy (OUT)
with Son also at bench risk in my top 3

and Vardy with tough fixture (@spurs)

So after some short tinkering and a quick peek in the Crystal ball, I pulled all stops and went

Smalling Kenedy Vardy
Tomkins Milivojevic Firmino -8p (and 0.1m unused)

My Last Lineup
McCarthy (or Ryan?)
Valencia Tomkins Lowton
Sterling Mahrez Son Mili
Kane(C) Firmino Jesus
Bench: Ryan Matic Bednarek Chilwell

Hey-ho here we go :D

PS: for the records, FFS projections say I gained 10.5 pts with the transfers (from 49.9 to 60.4) so I'd be 2.5p profitable over the 2 Hits.
Whilst FFFix don't see it as optimistically with only 2p gained from 56.4 to 58.3 (but they still give Smalling 5p)
Even taking out Smalling's pts I'd be losing 1p with the hits

Any one got any hunches about Sanchez?

Was his rest last week... or do we think Jose will mass rotate (we obviously know about DdG and Smalling already).

I have but I'm also questioning the worth of Liverpool attack (even in terms of getting Salah/Firmino for a hit) if he's playing. Maybe we're better off getting a Pool defender?

Yeah, selling Sterling might be foolish but so too moving Jesus Image

I really fancy Liverpool and City to both score heavily tomorrow!
Sutter Kane wrote:

Or

4 point hit for Son  Salah & Jesus  Firmino
I wouldn't be removing Sterling so it's the second option by a mile for me.

I have so many options if I want to remove Mahrez, Vardy and Willian for -4. Any combination of Rashford, Martial, Sterling, Firmino or Zaha. Unfortunately Sterling and Firmino is practically impossible. Or I could just keep Willian, 4 points and hope he starts as Conte will want his strongest XI for FA Cup and at the moment Willian's not in it... :|

Planned transfer out the window now (was Eriksen to Salah all along).

Now deciding who goes in for Smalling. Tempted with differentials Blind and Milner. Haven't seen either mentioned on here (probably for good reason!!).

the news about Mane, and everything I see on the Spurs forums pointing to Son missing out and I think it will be:

Willian & Son to Arnie & Zaha, or Martial and one of Zaha/Arnie, it's for a hit but I'm confident that Zaha/Martial/Arnie will be in the points and the hit will be covered.

I'm also very tempted to remove Vardy for Rashford.

Son, Lingard, Willian all in my midfield. Who would you transfer out? Can do Son  Salah for free.

Bench is Ibe, Lowton, Morgan. Is it worth doing Lingard  Mili or Willian  Zaha/Arnie for -4? Or do I hope Willian play and rely on Lowton as the only real sub?

Mane isn't out, he's missed some training sessions and was present at the warm up yesterday. All Kloppnhas said is he's got a new knock.

He's a doubt yes but not out. I felt the need to correct as loose talk costs lives ar this stage of the season

Really struggling with what to do. Have the following I don’t think will play:

DDG, Moreno, Smalling and Pogba.

Have 2 FT and am playing bench boost.

Thoughts are smalling -> VVD/Alonso and Pogba -> Martial. Are these the two best to focus on getting out?

Someone talk me out of taking a hit... I’m 2 points behind in my main ML so all to play for!

Not sure on Pogba. I'll wait to see if there's some squad news. He might not be in the squad altogether which makes the decision easier.

What are peoples thoughts on Giroud? Worth a punt. Toying between Giroud and martial or rashford and Zaha.

What are people with WC32 template teams and therefore multiple outs doing? I’m in all sorts

Most likely is Barnes to ayew to give me another very likely needed sub option for the likes of son, Silva, smalling etc

Think ayew is a good shout, Swansea need to score a few so will be on the attack. not sure I'd put him as sub though, Smalling is highly likely not to start so wouldn't have him in my team in case he comes on late.

I'd probably only do a keeper transfer if you don't have a playing one. Not sure I see many cleansheets around and someone like Ryan could do OK with save points. Liverpool probably best chance of a Cs so karius looks the best keeper for this week, I'd personally use my transfer on attacking players though.

Is Adrian definitely starting or is that just based on the fact he’s started the last ones and one nothing wrong? Hart was in possession until he couldn’t play Man U wasn’t he?

I have a 20 point lead in my ML. Would you do Christensen -> PVA & Willian -> Zaha for a hit or only the latter one with 1FT?

Why take hits with a 20 point lead, and only 1 GW to go?
