Feel my team is in trouble wrt rotation with Lingard, Willian and Son in midfield, and Ibe as backup  . Have DDG as well, but guess I'll just play Ryan and hope for some saves.

Might do Lingard&Willian  Salah&4.9 (RLC maybe?) for a -4.

Need a defender up to £4.3m to replace Chilwell. Obvious one is Long (Burnley), but other possibilities are Ogbonna/Masuaku (WHam) or Francis (Bourn).

Of all the weeks I wouldn't take a hit for a defender, it's GW38. Impossible to predict clean sheets with most teams having relatively low motivation.

Swansea however are one of the few teams with something to play for and they know that, while unlikely, a comprehensive win could see them survive. I'm playing two of their defenders myself and I'm not particularly worried about them.
Cheers, that definitely makes sense!

Wouldn't it be nice if FPL towers adjusted the transfer deadline to 30 mins before kick off so we didn't have to make these assumptions.
I'm considering Jesus to Firminho and Gungoden to Zaha.

My transfer boils down to who I think is the LEAST likely to play so I need need help on this please. Who is the LEAST likely to play between D Silva and Willian?

Surely you have to consider what points they may get if they do play? Both could miss, or play, probably even chances between them, but I’d back Silva to score more if he plays.

I know - but I look at Smalling, Son, Willian, Pogba, Barnes, Vardy with no LIV and worry.

I'll be keeping a close eye to see what to do.

really unsure what to do, the big decision is Salah.

Feel it's more exciting not getting him as there are loads of great options - Mane/Zaha/Arnie/Mkhitaryan/, and I want to take advantage of JM actually revealing who is playing, both Rashford/Martial have potential for a good score. And up front Firmino/Giroud/Laca/Auba all appeal.

Will probably take a hit and go for two or three real differential picks, something like:

Martial
Mkhitaryan
Giroud
or
Mane
Zaha
Rashford

just something really different

Yeah all revolves around Salah for me too. Had kept cash back for a straight swap for Alli but now with Barnes and Lingard out, Ibe struggling for minutes and Morgan having a poor fixture my squad looks in need of surgery elsewhere.

Hits for one week are a real risk and unlikely to pay off but they sure as hell look tempting right now. I really want Arnie in but going with no Pool could prove foolhardy.

Can anyone offer any insight on if Son (and Alli for that matter) are likely to start?

There is speculation on twitter that Son is carrying a knock, and earlier today MP did mention that there was "temptation to play players who don't play all the time", and then went on to talk about Foyth and Peters.

Personally I think there will be some bizarre line ups, it's one of the reasons that Martial/Rashford are appealing, they are confirmed to start.

If I'm brave enough to go without Salah then I do like the look of Mane(who has been their best player last few games), Zaha and Rashford.

All should play and all really low owned, like you say a last day hit is risky as only 1 GW to get it right, but why not, he who dares :D

Thanks Gambit, will look into the Son thing further.

I understand your point on United assets Jose has said will play but United just don't score enough compared to other top teams. However on the last day who knows maybe Jose lets them play more freely? Not convinced myself.

Zaha and Mane I would like but Arnie is my preference. I may end up with a Mane/Arnie in -4 if I have the balls to go without Salah. That's a big if though!

oh I completely agree about the United lack of goals, but last day of the season, Watford nothing to play for, several injuries and also talk of them making a few changes too, Rashford/Martial are more than capable of attacking returns.

I like Arnie too, very tough to split him and Zaha, just think Palace playing really well and Zaha has been electric.

RLC also been excellent and it could be Salah/RLC or Mane/Zaha.

What will swing it for me I think is that I want to captain Kane, to bring in Salah and not C him feels like a waste, so I will most likely go without.

@Gambit

In real terms RLC is playing superbly, want to see him in an England shirt this summer. However in fantasy terms McArthur has some stats over the last few weeks that back up his recent returns. If you go the Salah route he could be worth considering.

@Billy cheers for posting that.

thanks for the tip.

Few more pics of Son on the Spurs website which is positive, although he's in a different training top to Kane,Eriksen etc  :D lots have him benched reading through their forum but nothing claiming to be ITK, just guessing the team.

so the latest news is that Mane is now a doubt for the weekend!

that kills that transfer plan, may just avoid Liverpool all together, don't think they ever look as good when one of the front three is missing.

Same. However, playing BB I feel I have to so Moreno and Smalling for Robertson and Vertonghen or Otamendi for -4 here.

I wouldn't be removing Sterling so it's the second option by a mile for me.

I have so many options if I want to remove Mahrez, Vardy and Willian for -4. Any combination of Rashford, Martial, Sterling, Firmino or Zaha. Unfortunately Sterling and Firmino is practically impossible. Or I could just keep Willian, 4 points and hope he starts as Conte will want his strongest XI for FA Cup and at the moment Willian's not in it... :|

Torn between bringing in Zaha or Arnautovic. Have a slight preference for the West Ham player at the moment but anyone think either is a better candidate than the other for this weekend?

I have him and yes, I think he won't start. Played 90' last two games. Not sure though.

Carrick and Matic will start. I'm thinking Herrera will be the third mid since he didn't play against Brighton. Hopefully we'll get some leaked team news from MEN, they've been good recently.
