Salah -> Pogba
Mahrez -> Sterling
Vardy -> Jesus

I'm chasing a four point lead and thinking about this for a -8. Is it too big a hit for these?

I would imagine that Mahrez and Pogba will have similar returns - certainly a bit sideways and a risk for a -4.
Salah -> Sterling
Vardy -> Jesus
Those two moves could be worth a hit though

1. Salah (che) & Zaha (sto), no transfers 2FT in GW38
2. Alli (wba, NEW) & Zaha (sto), 1 FT no hits
3. Sane (HUD, BHA) & Zaha (sto), 1 FT no hits
4. Sane (HUD, BHA) & Pogba (bha, whu), 2 transfers, -4
I'd keep Zaha if I had him. He's in good form, certainly not worth -4 to sell him.

Salah->Man City/Spurs mid is the big question. I'm trying to take GW 38 into account as well since it's unlikely I'll buy him back.

With that in mind, the move is just passable. If you can buy Salah back for 38, go for Alli>Sane I guess.

if I get rid of Salah then I can't buy him back for 38 unless I take a hit.

I think my mind is set now on keeping both Zaha and Salah till the end, they have WBA and BHA in GW38

I have 1 FT, 0.8 ITB, no Man City player and am considering:

A.) Salah out and in:

Salah->Sterling
Son->Silva (-4)
Lowton->Danilo (-4)

0.8 ITB remain, allowing me for GW 38:

Alonso->4.4
Willian->Salah (-4)

B) Keep Salah:

Son->Silva
Lowton->Danilo (-4)

And for GW 38:

Alonso->5.1
Willian->Sterling (-4)

So the Salah swap is costing me 1 more hit but I get to have Sterling for the DGW. So for me, it's essentially down to whether Salah->Sterling (-4) is profitable or not.

Right now, I'm inclined to think it is..

From my point of view, bringing in Danilo this week (which will need to be funded by a hit, annoyingly short by 0.1m) and then bringing in Salah next week will cost me 8points.

Essentially the choice is:

a) GW37 Danilo & GW38 Danilo
b) GW37 Morgan & GW38 Tarkowski + 8 points.

Is it worth 8 points to potentially have [Danilo x 3] instead of [Morgan x 2 + Tarkowski]? Doesn't seem like it.

In that case, Danilo isn't the ideal route to Salah for you. Tbh, I don't think getting the two are related either.

I'm guessing you sold Salah before, already have Man City assets and will be using Alonso to get Salah back?

No. The -8 is certain and any improved return over what you already had is uncertain. Danilo probably needs 2 CSs minimum and to start every game to come out on top of that and that's assuming Leicester and Burnley get nothing.

Agreed. They just happen to be the moves I would make in each of these weeks.

Guys, I'm desperate for some inspiration here. There's many ways I can use my FT but I don't know which area to focus on.

Affordable moves with 1 FT
Schmeichel :arrow: Fabianksi/Forster
Jones :arrow: Laport/Danilo
Willian :arrow: Arnautovic/Ramsey
Barnes :arrow: Pérez/Ayew

Also been looking for ways to get Jesus, but it would require selling Vardy + Willian/Salah for a hit.

Any advice would be massivley appreciated :)

Hi Blaze,

Assuming you're not playing BB, I'm thinking you need a defender first, to complete eleven (not counting Burnley def due to poor single fixture). After that, a decent GK and then maybe a third forward if you feel 3-4-3 (-4) will get more points than 3-5-2 with Matic.

So DEF, GK and FWD in that order. Other moves are luxuries. Ryan can get 5 points so you can get away with just the 1 FT for a DEF if you don't want to take hits.

So many tempting moves this week. Which one of these, if any, do you guys find worthy a -4?

1) Morgan :arrow: Danilo (If Walker is out)
2) Barnes :arrow: J. Ayew
3) Willian :arrow: Tadic :mrgreen:

I’m looking at all 3 for -8 but with Willian to Arnie. If I was to pick one I’d choose option 1 depending on Walker news.

I’m bring in Ayew as part of hit... so I have to go with him.

Besides, Of the three options that’s the only one where I’d dare stake any money that it will pay off (including the -4).

Ok. So after my pricing screwup the other day, I am considering 4 options. All will be for a hit, and kept for GW38

1. Salah -> Sanchez/Hazard
2. Firmino -> Lacazette/Aubemayang (or however you spell it!)

Have exact pennies for the Aube option, so need to decide or rule that out tonight.

Having a hard time deciding on a <7.1 mil mid to bring in:

Arnautovic
Ramsey
Lingard
Zaha
A. Ayew (punt)
Tadic (punt)

Any strong arguments for one of them?

I had been set on bringing Sanchez and Ayew in.
Sanchez just isn’t floating my boat when I watch... but I know what he’s capable of (or are we all just mixing up the Sanchez of 12 months ago with the Sanchez of now)?

I could potentially bring in Hazard instead.

Another bonus/consideration is Lukaku’s potential injury. Could this give Sanchez a central striker role? Not sure if that’s good or bad.

Another issue I have is that I have just noticed I can afford Giroud instead of Ayew. Am I letting the glamour/name cloud my judgement. If I stick with Ayew, I have the advantage of being able to get Salah (in GW38) for any of my big three midfielders.
I'm in a similar position re Giroud, considering this:
Mahrez :arrow: Sterling
Lukaku :arrow: Jesus
Murray :arrow: Giroud

I've just been looking at some stats over the last six gameweeks. Ayew has 100% involvement in his team's goals but Giroud is on 118 mins per goal to Ayew's 270. Neither particularly excite me but I think Giroud has more explosive potential as a differential.

Keep Salah for his last 2 or switch out for Pogba? No extra cash in the bank so won’t be able to buy him back.

Pogba’s 3 fixtures vs Salah’s 2

Thanks, guys! Appreciated. Read somewhere that Walker trained, so I guess that's Danilo off the table for me. Can't really see many other good defensive options at around 5m worth a -4, so might just stick with Morgan and hope for 3-4 points. Maybe Mawson, though?

Pretty set on the Ayew move, but still can't make up my mind about Willian. I think if he starts he's a brilliant pick, it's just so uncertain whether he will. I like Arnie, the (lei) fixture might be quite Nice, although don't expect much from (MUN).

Pogba’s 3 fixtures vs Salah’s 2
Salah is likely to be the obvious captain choice in GW38, so you might say he has 3 fixtures (or, at least, Pogba is going to have to cover for 1 normal fixture and 1 captaincy). I'd be reluctant to get rid of him with the home game against Brighton.

I was thinking about a hit of -8, but decided not to do it. So now I have to choose between two options.

Christensen -> 3.8 & Vardy -> Jesus
or
Christensen -> Laporte/Danilo & Mahrez -> Sterling

Already have Sane. What would you do? 10 doublers anyway, keeping Salah.

Lukaku :arrow: Jesus

And then pondering some options for a hit -
Willian :arrow: Eriksen - Most likely
Cork :arrow: Arnie (rival has Arnie and also for an extra DGW player)
Barnes :arrow: Vardy (to get an extra DGW player, Leicester not that appealing though & I can bench Barnes this week)
Milli :arrow: Son (not sure of Son's minutes\form)

Currently joint top of ML, he has BB left and I have TC.
Who are you TCing?

Second option. You can also consider Mahrez->Silva for free. Leaves you without Sterling or Jesus but Silva Sane +4 isn't a bad alternative.

Cheers mate, I think I will go for the second option. Silva could be good, but my rival (I’m 1pt behind) has Jesus and will most likely get Sterling in for Mahrez. So I feel that I need one or the other.
