If Salah is banned I might use my transfer this week (as I won't need 2 FTs to get him in GW38).

Dilemma time:

I had been set on bringing Sanchez and Ayew in.
Sanchez just isn’t floating my boat when I watch... but I know what he’s capable of (or are we all just mixing up the Sanchez of 12 months ago with the Sanchez of now)?

I could potentially bring in Hazard instead.

Another bonus/consideration is Lukaku’s potential injury. Could this give Sanchez a central striker role? Not sure if that’s good or bad.

Another issue I have is that I have just noticed I can afford Giroud instead of Ayew. Am I letting the glamour/name cloud my judgement. If I stick with Ayew, I have the advantage of being able to get Salah (in GW38) for any of my big three midfielders.

I'm thinking I'll likely do a straight swap of Salah > Hazard, then I'll have 15 players with a double next week for my Bench Boost.

If I do switch out Salah I’m finding it hard to look beyond this move although it’d take a hit to get him back

At the moment I have a full 11 doublers for the DGW next week, but am now trying to decide whether I want Sterling in for Mahrez (or Willian for a hit), or to save a transfer and wait a week to bring in Salah instead. Benefit of Sterling is it allows me to bring in another player such as Milivojevic for Kenedy the following week when I assume he is unable to face Chelsea in GW38 or an upgrade on Morgan to the £5.4m range. I also have 3 gws compared to Salah two. Problem is I wouldn't have Salah for GW38. Also, no guarantee Sterling plays all 3, though he is pretty prolific right now so that may not matter. Lots to think about.

Hope that Ayew escapes ban . Was a barge / elbow into back of Cahill . Should have been red . But since Ref was looking straight at it maybe will escape
Does anyone know the protocol on how long the FA will take to review and decide?

(Don't have him, but was planning Perez  Ayew as my transer this week)

anyone got strong views on naughton and sane versus bednarek and sterling ? I feel like swans have a better chance of cs than soton.

Unsure.

I have enough itb for Vardy > Kane after doing Bailly > Dummet yesterday. I'm 2nd and 35 points off in my league, leader has Kane & Jesus too and will almost definitely captain Kane. Means I'd probably captain Sterling 37 so is Kane unnecessary in my position? Other option could be Cook > Alli.

Also want to ideally replace either Morgan or Lowton, want Swansea but only have enough for Van Der Hoorn if I do go Kane. Is he likely to play both?

I'm also looking at Van Der Hoorn and keen to hear opinions on whether he will play both. He's playing in the centre of a back three at the moment so I'm hoping he is a key component.

I'm going to have to take at least two hits this week to try and get my side into shape and halt the slide.

Current thinking is Lukaku/Willian  Jesus/Sane or Silva, although that would mean holding Gross and playing him or Young for the double?

Anyone 5-5.3m warranting a hit to replace Christensen?

Christensen is a tough one, he's clearly not first choice, but that could mean he gets the 2nd game of the double, which is Huddersfield and that's a great fixture.

If you think he will play the 2nd game, then Christensen, + 4, with Huddersfield (H), doesn't look too bad.

I'm going for Mawson, but that's to replace Morgan who I think could be dropped/rested for at least one of the games, and I can't see any chance of a clean sheet in either game.

Christensen I'm edging towards keeping and hoping he plays (and gets a CS) in the Huddersfield game

Yep all sounds sensible!

I'd already resigned myself to 3 changes this week, so in that case I could take the additional hit on Gross but would have to be for someone in a similar range, Tadic or Lingard maybe?

Another more left field option I've briefly considered is going cheap on the third striker with Austin and bringing in any City mid and Martial (if Lukaku out) for Willian/Gross...

Lukaku to Jesus definite. Debating whether to take a hit for Salah to another midfielder such as Hazard, De Bruyne, Silva, Sane... Not sure. I'd be bringing Salah back in for 38

Does anyone here know if Emerson and Christensen will play in both games for Chelsea as they are cheap and Emerson has played the last two games

Nobody knows but it's unlikely. I'd avoid both

Will Silva play much now it will Probably just give him the rest of the season off after the trophy presentation?

If Silva is safe then I'm considering Mahrez & Vardy to Silva & Jesus (-4).

Hard to say for sure. Best idea is to wait for press conferences and the blue moon insider

Will be Sane if not. Possibly ramsey

Debating whether it's worth Salah to Hazard (-4) or just doing a boring Long to Naughton (-4). I've already done Lowton to Smalling this week with my free.

I would have enough money to do a straight swap back to Salah for GW38.

Any thoughts please?

This won't help but that's exactly the situation I'm in... I'm not sure either. Salah could score away to Chelsea.

At least i'm not the only one, so it has it's merits. I could also just do Barnes to Ayew for -4 and leave Salah in making him my only SGW player. would then have a team of

DDG
Kompany, Smalling, Vert
Salah, Arnie, Sterling, Eriksen
Kane, Jesus, Ayew

Ryan, Dummett, Mili, Long. 0/8 ITB

The thing that is annoying about it is that whether or not Hazard plays against Huddersfield is probably dependent on the result against Liverpool. If Liverpool win, I don't see much reason why he'd bother playing him again 3 days later with the Cup final only a week and a half away. A draw and it's difficult to say. If Chelsea won though, I'd be surprised if he didn't play again. Obviously this is all conjecture. Would you consider a different mid - say De Bruyne or Alli (I have Alli, so Eriksen in my case)?
