Re: City for the run in
Pep has come out today saying Ederson definitely won't be taking a penalty.

Re: City for the run in
I think he's going to start at least one game and maybe a cameo for the other. But you could say the same with the others too...maybe Sterling is the most secure as he is pretty much their most advanced player and focal point most of the time. Yep I got my eye on Rambo too.The Toon Man wrote: ↑29 Apr 2018, 18:31Considered this myself but doesn’t feel a sure thing?
Ramsey at a similar value be better if they lose on Thursday?

Re: City for the run in
Took a punt on Bernardo Silva on my wildcard this week. Frustrating that he didn’t play at all today, but in hindsight I suppose that probably bodes well for his DGW prospects now.

Do we think David Silva will return for their next game?

Re: City for the run in
I have got a feeling that Sane will be rested for the Huddersfield game as he was rested for the Swansea when Pep played Bernando Silva instead. And I think he might do the same thing by rotating both Sane snd Silva for the double

Is it likely that David Silva returns to the starting line up for their next match? I don't know if I could cope with another blank

The stats are dark and full of errors.
Re: City for the run in
Keep an eye on Reddit. Someone there quoted a user on the blue moon forum who correctly stated that Silva would miss the last match. If he posts anything, it will be reported on Reddit again in sure.TheBigLewandowski wrote: ↑30 Apr 2018, 17:22 Is it likely that David Silva returns to the starting line up for their next match? I'm guessing KDB is safe to start the next 3?
He is the only one who doesn't seem to get rotated

Re: City for the run in
Already have Sterling, and will almost certainly add Jesus.
Third will be either D Silva or Danilo. I'm essentially weighing up Pogba/Danilo vs Silva/Christensen+4. Close.
Much will depend on the City press conference, I guess.

Unconfirmed, but murmurs that Walker could be out for the last few games, and Danilo is his only real cover for that spot.Billy Bongo wrote: ↑02 May 2018, 18:28 Why is Danilo getting so many mentions? What have i missed?

So are we unanimous that Man City is a total lottery?
I have tried to look for nuggets everywhere and thought it thoroughly, but my take is that it's simply a pure lottery. We really don't have any hunch about who will play.
Does anyone here dare to say he has a hunch?

I suspect D. Silva will play as he had a rest last week. Probably more hope than anything else, but I'd like to think Pep would play his best 11 tomorrow for the "celebration game". I've gone out on a limb and put DSilva/Sterling/Jesus in... fully expect it to backfire!

Maybe, but they're all good for points.
Walker training rules out Danilo though, which is a shame. I was wanting a Man City defender, but that seems risky now, especially for a hit.

I don't think Jesus is a risk. Only striker, fresher than a lot of the XI, looking to play himself into the starting line-up for Brazil. I'm captaining.

Re: So are we unanimous that Man City is a total lottery?
Looks like KDB sits out Brighton but if Pep wants to win in for the love of Yaya you wouldn't expect whole scale changes.
Not sure why everyone thinks Silva is nailed dor every game he's got tough competition from Gundo Foden and the like.
They are all a lottery just pick 3 and get 180 mins from them in the run in, which is probably 10 goals anyway

Re: City for the run in
Pep from the presser: "We're going to try and involve all of our players in the last three games."
Any thoughts on what that comment means in practical terms? I'm imagining a sub appearance or two for Foden. Clearly Yaya starts at least the final game, which presumably pushes out Fernandinho/Gundongan rather than KDB. Maybe more minutes for B. Silva, but at whose expense?
Is anyone expecting anything more dramatic than that? Any other predictions or thoughts?

Apparently, the odds on City winning this weekend might well be the shortest ever seen in the PL. You'd expect similar for Brighton in midweek.
Rotation is an inevitability but for me, it would seem to be a far biggest risk not to load up on City attacking assets for this double.
I wouldn't bring in a defender as it's far more likely that they will end up with a zero or 1 point from one of the games.

Re: So are we unanimous that Man City is a total lottery?
Jesus is probably the most nailed. Hasn’t started most of the season, 4 goals in 4 games and the only striker but there is the small possibility of Pep dropping Jesus for B silva and playing sterling as a false 9. I say small possibility because sterling has played so much this season and lately has been involved so much he might need a rest but then the way he’s playing he could be undroppable tough one. I think B Silva gets started in one of the games and with Sane having a rest recently I think it’s for Jesus or sterling but he could just sang easily bring Sane on in one of them so much rotation possibilities and so little time to TC someone
