Spurs GW25-27 - Hold or Drop?
I think we have a pretty good idea of what we going to do now with this three game stretch coming up for the Wembley renters.
Does Liverpool's leaky defence change your mind? Is Arsenal even a game to be worried about? Would defeat to a Pogba-led United dent their confidence before Anfield? And does BGW28 change your thinking?

Way they are playing right now I can see they scoring against anyone. That front 4 is working well and son looks like he's really improving all the time. That Liverpool game could be another 4-3!

Given they play arsenal and pool I'd keep attackers and sell defenders
Another consideration is how many players you need for GW28

Will keep Kane and Son. Will lose Eriksen after Saints. Probably for Salah or Mane.

Keeping Kane and probably Son, Vert will have to go either this GW or after the Saints game.

I'm likely to keep Kane and Alli and move Eriksen on for Mane, but it could all change depending on Kun.
I don't think Liverpool and Arsenal are particularly terrifying games for Spurs attackers tbh (OK, Liverpool have been good defensively at Anfield) - they seem to like playing on the counter more than having to break down ten behind the ball. The United game is at least at home, and there's a GW28 reward for keeping them (more so if Chelsea and City go through in the cup).

Re: Spurs GW25-27 - Hold or Drop?
Keeping Kane because as has been said before outside of Firmino there's so few options other than cheapies you'd have to bench and go 5 in midfield. Son appears to be in great form, but can see what people are saying about his Home form. He seems buoyed by the fans which makes me wonder how he'll do in tough fixtures away from Wembley. But then his next is away against Southampton and I'd be interested to see what people think of him being fixture-proof.

More concerned with Son's place if Toby comes back soon than with form. I'll keep Kane on the basis that he's only got Jose's parked bus to worry about, but might look to make Son Mahrez. Vertonghen's going though.

Had been planning on using Son to fund Aguero but I've cooled on that now given their respective form.
Kane stays regardless, but as above with Arsenal and Liverpool in that run it is probably prudent to hold attackers and sell defenders, keeping an eye on any Alderweireld return and how it may affect Son.

The stats are dark and full of errors.
Re: Spurs GW25-27 - Hold or Drop?
I don't really have any desire at all to move Kane on so it's just Son for me and he's doing perfectly well for the price paid. With transfers in short supply now as the blanks and doubles begin to feature on the horizon I don't think Son is likely to leave my team just due to that three game spell, but if I get no more pressing concerns after this GW, I might consider a luxury move for someone with better fixtures and a GW28.

Keep Kane and sell Eriksen either this GW or the next. Already planning on bringing Son in for their next great fixture-run starting in GW28.

Same.
Also conscious of fixtures that will take place in GW28. Not overly excited about possibly needing to play WHam defender(s) at Liverpool if my bench is full of blankers.
I still haven’t fully ruled out Free Hit - will make a call once we know Kapow Cup finalists.

Re: Spurs GW25-27 - Hold or Drop?
Same situation. Although Son is great and getting lot of credit from Poch, I'm wondering what will happen when Alderweireld is back, as he is joining the group next week. Who will miss out if Poch goes back to 5 at the back, does it take 1-2 bad games from Son to become bench player again? Hope not, but let's see...Mav3rick wrote: ↑16 Jan 2018, 19:57 I don't really have any desire at all to move Kane on so it's just Son for me and he's doing perfectly well for the price paid. And you should be reassured that at this rate I’ll never catch up with you. Our teams are far too similar!
