I'm not in a huge rush to get Salah.

He's now over £10m, and there are too many performing mids to choose from as it is. Sure, it stings every time he does well. But this game week was an example of how it doesn't necessarily hit your rank.

I'd fancy Pogba plus 2 million.

Is it worth a hit to downgrade Christensen to a defender £4.3m or less in order to upgrade DCL to Firmino? Firmino would be a long term pick in a front 2 with Kane. Currently having to play a 4-5-1 due to having DCL and Crouch as my other 2 strikers.

I think it is, especially if you'll be priced out if you wait. You're teansfering out two rotation risks for two nailed on players, that has to be worth a -4.

Tomkins probably best but dreadful fixtures. This defender will only be acting as defender number 5 though. Alongside Alonso, Otamendi, Kenny and Dunk.

If you don't need him this week, Danny Simpson. Leicester have good fixtures and he's as nailed as you will get st that price

I think you answered your own question. You can't have everyone and your squad is on point really. What's your selling price for DCL? if it's 5.5 you could transfer dunk to a 4.2-4.3 such as simpson or dummett and upgrade DCL to wilson

I'll need to spend 4 points on a transfer to fund the move, and I'm not completely sure on the second transfer yet - probably Phil Jones to a 4.3m/4.4m defender.

Couldn't go through with it. Went the boring Morata Firmino.

Don't need Aguero as a captain option. Not convinced Aguero outscores Firmino by 8 over the next few (to offset the transfer costs). Give up too much points expectation by downgrading Jones (or Ota, or A N Other). Add in the value loss on the enabling transfer if I want to reverse that in future, the value loss due to buying Bobbie in 3 or 4 weeks time at a higher price, and the safety blanket I get by banking a little cash in case I get an important injury in the next few weeks, and it was actually an easy decision (eventually).

That's the problem! More often than not 5 in midfield given the form of those midfielders.

This week it would be a choice between Wilson (WHU away) and Lingard (BUR away) for a starting spot.

I have in mind the gameweek 28 blank meaning a strong bench is important as I don't want to sell Alonso, Otamendi and Sterling (too much money invested).

I'd consider that a very strong defence myself...

I'd shift DCL for cheaper bench fodder like Quaner as DCL's going to be benched more now and how often are you going to need that 3rd striker anyway in that set up?

Then you've got closer to 1.0 in the bank for a rainy day
