FS Record: Pioneer and perpetual main protagonist of the prestigious perennial Phlegmiership. Other than that particularly pointless prize pretty average.

2 time Divisional Championships Premier League winner :)

Dunk :arrow: Van Dijk/Maguire. Can't make up my mind which one to go for.

Hazard to Mané, might add Krul to Foster for a -4 with Elliot my other (non-playing) goalkeeper for too long.

2FTs, thinking about:

Son :arrow: Salah
Firmino :arrow: Calvert-Lewin

Feels like I need Salah and I don't like the look of Spurs' fixtures after this gw. Keeping Kane though.
Mooy could become Lingard next week after Hudds play Stoke this gw.
Any better alternatives to Calvert-Lewin around that price?

shifted chicorito to crouch on monday (hangover from dgw) to give me some funds for an upgrade elsewhere .
after reading about rumours of arnie starting upfront and the dissapointment of rlc took a -4 to get arnie in for rlc

really wouldn't go for Clavert-Lewin, 6pts from last five games and Everton have just signed a new striker....I am just about to take him out after having had him stink out my team for the last couple of months.......

not a lot to choice for in that price range but I am paying a bit more and bring in Callum Wilson

Have 4m in the bank.

Dunk to Azp/Alonso/Jones worth it or should I roll?

I don’t have any Chelsea cover but they’re not playing particularly well but along with United, they keep the clean sheets ticking along nicely. I am aware the 4m can allow me to do a lot with a single move and that may be more beneficial spent on the attacking 7.

However, currently owning Lingard, Salah, Son, Sterling, Arnie, Kane and Firmino, I’m happy with all of those at the moment and don’t have any transfers planned. Worth keeping the 4m and waiting for something serious to sort? A suspension, an injury etc

Can't see a way to get Firmino in for 3 'Premium' strikers so:

DCL --> Wilson
Richarlison --> Albrighton

Thinking of rotating Lingard and Albrighton. Albrighton will get the the start this coming GW against Watford.

Anyone else thinking about Albrighton as a cheap Mahrez?

If I were you, I wouldn't be hoarding the cash!
4m is enough to make Dunk into Alonso.
Just look at his returns compared to Dunk / Masuaku
Plus Chelsea have a good run coming up.
If you really don't want Chelsea you could easily invest in an alternative live Valencia

I hear you. Have had a re-think;

Son :arrow: Salah
Firmino :arrow: Quaner

Mooy :arrow: Pogba next week

I wouldn’t be firing Firmino..I’d work out some other way of getting Salah in.

Cheers for the advice abuhaneefah. Anyone with the same opinion?

I’d want shot of any Chelsea assets after the West Brom game on the 12th Feb. They have Barca, United and City in quick succession then Barca again and Spurs shortly after.

Why no matches on the 18th and 19th Feb?

Managed to find a way to get rid of Morata, DCL and Richarlison in one go.

Morata -> Firmino
Richarlison -> Sane
DCL -> Crouch

3-5-2 with Salah, Son, Sane, Sterling and Arnautovic in midfield and Firmino and Kane up front.

Son might become Mahrez next week

Is this worth a -4?

DCL --> Firmino
Richarlison --> Maitland-Niles
Otamendi --> Tomkins

Gives me a GW 24 team of:

Adrian
Zanka, Jones, Alonso
Lingard, Salah, Son, Arnautovic
Kane, Aguero, Firmino

DCL :arrow: Firmino done. Seems more profitable than Eriksen to Salah. Salah will have to wait another week or two...

FA Cup fifth round.

Alonso represents the best of Chelsea. Nailed on, defender and arguably their best attacker(!). Unless you're saving to get de Bruyne or Aguero, it's a no-brainer. You'll still have 1 mil left.

You are one step away from the ideal team. Take it!

That's still 4 games of potentially a lot of points for Alonso.

I've got too much value tied up in him to swap him out for those 2 gws - you could swap to Valencia or another Premium defender after the WBA game.

BTW - Over £105m in team value is impressive.

How did you manage that?

Reluctantly

Son - > Salah
Murray - > Crouch
Mustafi - > Holgate.

-4 points hit.

Really don't like the Son transfer out but something had to give and with fixtures /away games I've taken the gamble to get Salah in, whom becomes a genuine captaincy option along with Aguero, Kane, Pogba and Sterling.
Of Son’s 112 points, 89 have come at home and only 23 away, an away average of just over 2. I accept an away goal is due but the statistics 'back up' the transfer.
Not overly fussed with losing Mustafi (0 clean sheets in 5) but not convinced Holgate is the right player in for £4.3m. That said, Crouch just maybe an exciting player to have in my team for a few weeks.

Just getting players in at the right time I guess. 105.3m team value. No doubt there’s guys on here with more. Dunk/Masuaku to Alonso then. As an Adrian owner should I ditch the latter instead?

Plan is to do a -8 hit this week.
Lingard :arrow: Salah
DCL :arrow: Wilson
Verthonghen :arrow: Tarkowski

This allows me to
- use my budget
- make use of the otherwise ineffective money stored in DCL
- Roll next week and hereby better flexibility once more information around blanks and DGW are available

Hopefully it also pays off pointswise :)

KDB > Salah for a - 4 isn't a clever idea given Man City's next two fixtures, right?

I do already have Sterling and Aguero. I do not have any Liverpool players.

Just done:
Morata -> Firminio
DCL -> Wilson

Leaves me a very strong front 8 so will may downgrade a midfielder in due course. Annoyingly be delaying this transfer it has cost me £0.3m

If Adrian is going to be the keeper that you are playing for the next 4 weeks then I would probably not double up on WH defence .
West Ham haven't kept a clean sheet since Week 18 , despite having Newcastle, Bournemouth, West Brom, and Huddersfield for 4/5 of those games!

Calvert Lewin out / Murray in.

Got Calvert Lewin in from GW 20 as a third striker but his minutes seem to be reduced in the last 3 GWs.
