Jesus is probably not worth the armband anyway. He probably won't start (FFScout think he won't) and hasn't been in form recently anyway. Sane would be less risky but he would almost certainly sub on if benched.

Kane (C), Aguero (vc) for me. Very tempted to switch them around but in weeks like this you just have to go for the obvious option IMO.

I think this is a very risky move. There's a chance both players are benched, I would at least VC someone nailed on.
Before an International Break?

I doubt it.

Well there's a certainly a strong chance Jesus is benched and runs on for a 1pt cameo. Certainly a high enough chance that I wouldn't be comfortable captaining him.

But Jesus\Kun is a different bowl of goldfish to Alli and Kane?

+1 he’d be the last player in my 11 I’d captain. Purely as he’s the least likely to start imo.

I sold Morata rather than Jesus this week. With Man City it feels like a lottery. But I would rather have a ticket than not. Besides next week he is gone for Lukaku. Also think City will destroy Arsenal so even say 20-30 minutes could give 5 points or so.

City have to drop at some point, and Arsenal are essentially playing once a week. Don't think they'll get turned over at City the way some are predicting.

Arsenal are on of those random teams that can pull out a fantastic performance. Just feel that with Sanchez thinking about leaving in January, Laca still finding his feet away, even the the front three getting used to each other and City putting 3 past literally everyone it doesn't look good for Arsenal.

I picked Jesus with the argument: What are the odds to be burned two GW's in a row (by an attacking City player)

Over the last 3 seasons the two teams have played 8 times and Arsenal have averaged 2 goals per game, winning 4 times, drawing 3 and only losing to City once. OK, this City team is a different proposition to some degree but it isn't necessarily an easy game for City. They had a tough outing on Wednesday whereas Arsenal rested their whole team.

Bottled it (or played safe) and went Kane in the end having had Aguero (C) and Salah (VC) when I woke up.

And after all that it sounds as if Alli may be out today, meaning Kane(c) anyway.

Not the greatest news if my key transfer of the week is getting treatment instead of playing. Have to hope for something worthwhile from DCL now. On the plus side, if Sterling also fails to appear it will activate Ward's 6 points in 2nd sub position.

No Davies means a 2 off the bench for me. He's dead to me and needs to go. Next week!

Hopefully Sterling will understand the great responsibility he has in taking the armband from Alli :!:
