Can't be answered. But I just did a bit of research.

This is Kun's 7th season at City (has it been that long?) and he has scored 6 PL hat-tricks for them in that time. His goals in the immediately following game: 0, 1, 1, 0, 1, 1. So an average of 0.67 goals per game following a PL hat-trick.

That means nothing as a predictor, of course. City didn't have Palace at home in Aguero's first game after a hat-trick before. But one of the games he blanked in after a treble was a 4-2 win against Swansea. Maybe that's slightly comparable?

All I am saying, really, is that an Aguero haul this weekend is by no means a done deal. If you are taking a hit to get him it almost certainly means he must score twice (or 1G 1A at the minimum) to even have a chance to repay the hit. And then you are faced with Kane and/or Lukaku missing in GW7 when they both have better fixtures than Aguero does. Unless you use another FT to switch him out again.

Speaking personally, I feel I can improve my team more for this week and next by the transfers I will actually make than by getting Aguero in. That's the long and the short of it. I reckon it comes down to what else your team currently needs, as these things often do.

I'd rather play Dunk than Naughton this GW, there won't be much in their clean sheet odds and Dunk is a goal threat. Would be a backwards transfer in my opinion.
Agree with Valeron - Dunk looks a better prospect than Naughton this weekend. Brighton are harder to break down at home and Swansea's defence seems to be more resilient away from home.
In terms of Hegazi replacements, Wimmer at 4.4m looks good from GW9 onwards.

I think he has Kun and was doing 2 to take a hit to get Jesus in.

Yep to the above: it does smack of chasing points, but then I dumped Lulu for Jesus on Friday night for the price rise, and would have 0.2 if I'd gone Kun.

Kinda think I have the right one season long, but is that the point at the top end?

Ah, OK blah. Didn't have the context, I assumed Kun was arriving. But maybe some useful data there anyway.

Having wild carded last week, I will hopefully be rolling over my transfer this week. Vardy appears to be my only injury doubt at the moment and I will need to consider alternatives if he is injured. Son a definite rotation risk having played 90 minutes in midweek, but I'm probably going to be sticking with him through Spurs' next few favourable fixtures.

Totally. I'm not getting the Kun love. In July we knew it would happen at some stage...

The thing is that Pep wants more than a goal hanger etc?

Carrying over. Wildcarded last week. Was a bit of a disaster. Don't have Kun. Going to try to stick to my guns and hope things look up.

I’d consider Firmino to Vardy if the latter is confirmed fit.

I'm a first time Fantasy player so would some some critique of my team if anyone has time 😁 Mainly as I've wildcarded.

My team is going ok mainly because of a killer first round getting 103. Has been lukewarm since then. I also hit the wildcard button this week and when it refreshed all the prices had updated (earlier in the day in Australia then I'd previously noted) and so I missed out on a lot of team value!

My team ATM is:

Pickford - Elliot (banking on evertons good run)

Jones Davies Naughton (Mbemba Cedric)

Salah Mkhitaryan D.Silva Gross (Carroll)

Vardy Lukaku Aguero (C)

- side note. I thought I was being smart by transferring firmino out at 8.7 before he dropped a few days ago and then planning on bringing him back in at 8.6, protecting the .1 rise but it's backfired as he hasn't dropped despite being roughly -100+ for 3 days! If vardy doesn't play it will be a rough kick in the face to add to what has been a horrible first ever WC for me!

Thanks for your help! Don't hold back!

So you prefer vardys fixtures? I'm on vardy this week but it will most likely be one of these two over the season.

I find firminos yields hard to pick as pool often play better against the top teams

Different question but how do mids tend to go against forwards for points vs value. Currently have 31.5 tied up in my 3 forwards so wondering if I'm better off spreading that into the likes of alli and eriksen and mane etc?

Sounds like Vardy is fit, in which case I will be doing Phillips and Chicarito to Atsu and Vardy.

Mooy -> Groß or a boring Gamez -> Mbemba? Or should I just roll? I have Chalobah, TAA, Gamez on my bench currently. Mooy, Carroll and Chalobah haven't been exactly lighting it up for me and the reasoning behind having them was to get Kane in which also hasn't worked that well for me yet

Snap. I can't reconcile getting Aguero in. If he outscores my captain Kane by a bucket load then I'll take that on the chin. (and complain about averages and such like!) I've never got a player in for one week only so with Chelsea away next and then a potential benching, I'll pass. The danger is he becomes part of a Man C side that will destroy the Premier League this season...and score 250+ points.

Hello all

Transfer headache here looking for inspiration

I’m taking kompany out for Jones

Then I can’t decide whether to take Willian out for mata or take Hernandez out for Defoe, king, wood or bony

Any advice would be most useful

Thanks

I wouldn't get Mata - he's a rotation risk and seems to pay limited minutes anyway. Bony might not start either but if he does, I quite like that risk. Unsure he's going to be better than Hernandez though in the long run so I'd probably just hold.

Isn't Kompany back?

I'm surprised I haven't seen more people making this move given that, for most, they are equally priced.

I have Firmino, Kane, Lukaku up front and 0.0 ITB. Strongly considering Lukaku  Aguero. He'll start, he'll score, he'd be my captain. Feels right.

Very simple for me. Lukaku  Aguero (c) this week and I will reverse it next week subject to any other issues.

How would you go about getting Aguero in?

Alonso Alli and Hernandez out for a -8 seems the only option but I don't want to lose Alli.

I would have had to take a similar hit to bring him in. Would rather lose Lukaku than take a -8.

Wouldn't do either of the above.

Maybe Lukaku out this GW and buy him back next GW.

After being away for the weekend, I played my wildcard on Sunday meaning I missed a couple of price rises including Kun's. Somewhat ironically I am now 0.1m short of what I would really like to do. This game frustrates me at times ;)

Antonio  Ritchie
Lowe  Kolasinac

Originally I had planned to save the transfer this week, but have ended up with a -4.

Negative side:
-4
-Slight regret for having to ship Antonio with the coming fixtures in mind.

Positive side:
-Kolasinac and fixtures of his.
-Team structure I wanted in a couple of weeks already settled.
-Will have De Gea an extra week
-Less players playing each other this gameweek

Original Plan:
GW6: Save
GW7: De Gea  Fabianski
GW8: Lowe  Wimmer plus Alderweireld  Alonso
GW9: Kane  Terrifying Attacker

New Plan:
GW6: See Above
GW7: Save
GW8: De Gea  Fabianski
GW9: Kane  Terrifying Attacker and Alderweireld  Terrifying affordable Defender
