Madness to bench Alonso for mariappa?

Long as he's not injured I'd play Alonso. Unless I'm completely mistaken Alonso either plays or is benched/rested. He's not a sub. I don't trust Watford's defence.
Cheers. Don't feel comfortable with any selections really! Looks like mariappa first sub and hope sterling either starts or doesn't play at all!

No problem. Any advice on my goalkeeper situation above?

Tough choice here:

I need to play 2 of Wilson, Sterling, and Lingard.

Help! :D

Pickford (BUR) or Foster (WAT)?
Pickford for me. More defensive personnel returning and burnley are far from prolific. Pickford typically has good saves and BPS potential, as well as a penalty save in him from time to time

Play one from:

Shaqiri (MCY)
Wilson (TOT)
VVD (mun)

?

Notned: I am playing Fernandez ahead of those three for what it's worth (and selling Ogbonna)..

In exactly the same boat. I'm currently on Shaqiri, better form than Wilson (also rotation risk) and don't fancy Liverpool keeping a CS.

Shaqiri (MCI) or Wilson (TOT)? Leaning towards the former when I take their rotation threat into consideration.

Hmm, with Pogba possibly out, then playing VVD can maybe work out after all. Could play him and bench Wilson.

Definitely Adrián for me. West Ham have won five of their last six meetings with Burnley and have never failed to score against them in over ten years.

Probably worth nothing, new players and managers and stuff, but still Adrián for me. :)

Start Shaqiri (MCI) or Ayew (hud)?

I've been hopping between the two all week.

I’d play Ogbonna of those - Home fixture, Burnley not in the best form and aren’t the most prolific
Then probably VVD, but a clean sheet from any of them would be a bonus so don’t sweat it too much

Two to play, two to watch:
Wilson (TOT)
Milivojevic (che)
Ogbonna (BUR)
Zanka (SWA)
Tempted by the defenders & go 4 at the back. Any thoughts anyone?

Can’t say I fancy West Ham to keep a clean sheet, especially with Hart back. Pretty much a lottery. You could use Murphy’s law and say that everyone will be benching Milivojevic, so his chances of scoring a penalty and tormenting owners are pretty high!

My quandary is Mee away to West Ham or Duffy away to Everton.

Play two from:

Deeney (ARS)
Mkhitaryan (WAT)
Pritchard (SWA)

At the moment I'm playing the first two, but Pritchard has the best fixture on paper.

How is there no news about Pritchard's 'dead leg'?

I have the same two and am playing Mee, for what it's worth.

Any takers?

Owlser, I’d play Pritchard so that’d mean dropping Deeney. Nice problem to have!
Others: Mee to play over Duffy. This is aspirational as I have Pope, but clean sheet chances for either would not be high.
KTB...: It’s reasonable to expect United to score at least once. So, who’s most likely to contribute up front - those further forward, or a defender up for a corner? I typically opt for those who spend more time upfield. It doesn’t always work out, but their odds of involvement are higher
Sammy: I’d play Ayew (which Ayew!?)

Cheers Smurphy. That's just what I've posted in my RMT thread. Was a bit worried about playing Mkhitaryan over Deeney, but hoping he has a bit more momentum after the Milan game.

Thanks mate. As it happens, I ended up missing deadline and unwittingly benching VVD, as you say though probably much of a muchness anyway.

Can imagine there'll be a load in a similar benching place with all the BB wildcards.

Start one of:
Lowton (WBA A)
Ibe (WAT A)
Barnes (WBA A)
Morgan (BHA A)

I'm starting Lowton at the moment with a bench order of Barnes, Ibe, Morgan. Anyone do different?

DDG
Alonso Bailly Mustafi Lowton
Salah Mahrez Son Willian
Aubameyang Vardy

Ryan Barnes Ibe Morgan
