What does this mean for NUF's starting D? Who is likely to start?
no just that Gamez might not start at LB

that would make sense since i needed a 4.0 def to free cash for Kane. I guess it was always a gamble :)

Wenger on Welbeck's injury - "We don’t know how bad his groin injury is but he will certainly be out until the international break.” (from FFS)

Özil training again. Wenger hints at a start for Sánchez.

B. Davies back in contention.

'Problems' for Liverpool as Lovren is struggling due to a back problem and both Can and Matip are carrying minor knocks.

Mounié has been ruled out for the weekend.

Bony is in contention for a start after his minutes midweek.

A late decision will be made on whether Van Dijk will feature against United. Austin has returned to full training.

Femenia will return to the Watford squad.

Bakayoko was involved in a car accident, though walked away from the crash unharmed.

Stoke are in trouble defensively: Shawcross, Cameron and Zouma unavailable and Wimmer is a major doubt with his hamstring. Diouf has a knee problem.

All coming from Dinnery. Don't kill me, Finisher1.

LFC website (pretty much saying as above but with more padding):

Jürgen Klopp has been left sweating on the fitness of defenders Joel Matip and Dejan Lovren ahead of Liverpool's trip to Leicester City on Saturday.

Lovren is still battling the back injury that has forced him out of the Reds' last two fixtures, while Matip is contending with a knock picked up in last weekend's 1-1 draw with Burnley.

Emre Can also sustained a minor injury in the clash with the Clarets but returned to training on Thursday and should be available for selection.

Long-term absentees Nathaniel Clyne and Adam Lallana remain sidelined.

Dinnery is the new number one nugget feed on twitter

Post by Finisher1 »

Has anyone else noticed that FFS twitter feed is not so useful in midweek anymore? For example today Dinnery has tweeted loads of valuable updates while FFS is just focusing on "Look at our Scout Picks" tweets.

I have now promoted Dinnery as my main nugget feed on twitter. What twitter feeds you guys find useful?

Ben Dinnery isnt itk. Seems to have established himself as the fpl injury guy. He generally tweets the same info from the clubs official feed. It is handy to have it all on one place though than having to scan through 20 clubs twitter feeds.

I didn't say he is ITK, I said he tweets loads of valuable nuggets. That used to be the role of FFS but nowadays they focus on "Look at our Scout Picks" tweets, at least in midweek.

He's been a bit unreliable at times in my experience, so I'd be careful with some of his stuff. Some insights for sure though.

I guess FFS will usually post all the press conference stuff (and maybe any big stuff that gets flagged to them), can't expect them to trawl twitter for every potential piece of news.

Merged btw.

Jones confirmed unavailable for this weekend’s clash with Palace. “And Valencia has a chance.”

Didn’t know Valencia was a doubt as well.

I read that Poch thinks Eriksen will be available for selection. So that's promising for owners.

From FFS Twitter feed-

Koeman on Niasse: "He will be part of the team on Sunday. He's playing out of confidence and scoring goals."

Afaik he didn't play midweek as he wasn't in the originally declared Europa league squad. Everton are dreadful though so it is indeed risky.

Lukaku came on and scored for Belgium tonight so he's fit for this weekend. Jones back in training also.
