Hodgson hopes to have McArthur available, says he “has been receiving treatment all week."
Hodgson also confirms Benteke is “probably still 4-5 weeks” away from returning.

Quaner “has a chance of being involved” vs Liverpool, says Wagner.
Wagner also confirms Kachunga (back) has trained all week and is available to face Liverpool.

Clement on Olsson: “He will have a scan today. We are almost certain he won't be available for this weekend.”
Bony and Sanches still out, says Clement: “Both players are at a similar stage with their rehab & fitness and won't be available Saturday."
Clement says Clucas, Naughton or Rangel could play at left-back if Olsson is ruled out.

Wood is “touch and go” for Burnley’s clash with Newcastle on Monday. Dyche hopeful on Vokes' fitness.

As Mr Arnold might say, hold on to your butts...

Possible Kane injury:

This with doubts over Davies & City assets, this could be problematic.

I know he wasn't pictured in training, is that just a lead on from that or definitive news? Joyce has been fairly reliable but did he get something wrong earlier in the season? Can't remember but I'm sure his name came up recently.

According to Dinnery from 20 minutes ago:
"Coutinho suffered an abductor strain which could also rule him out of the UCL tie vs Maribor and next weekend's PL clash with West Ham."

For anyone with Coutinho:

Klopp: "Last week he had some back problems. During the week it settled with treatment. Now he has a problem with the abductor. It's not clear whether he's out for tomorrow. We'll make the decision after training today. He missed training yesterday but that's all at the moment."

Klopp will make a late decision on Coutinho and Lovren: "Not 100 per cent sure [on their availability] in this moment.''

Firmino was suffering from cramp [vs HTAFC]. Gomez has a minor issue. Could be rested: "I never take risks. I will speak to med. dept.”

Hughes: “Cameron is still out with concussion. Crouch is ok and returned to training yesterday, Johnson is ok too.”
Hughes: “Shawcross has a little issue with his thigh which we are hoping will be resolved. Martins Indi should be ok for tomorrow.”
Hughes on Diouf: "He would still like to play down the middle but it's needs must at the moment with him in a wide position.”

Pulis: “Dawson and Morrison are out. Burke has trained well and is in contention”.
Pulis: “The news on Morrison was decent. Hopefully he will be back in contention ahead of the Chelsea game (GW12)."

Ben Dinnery:

Unsworth confirms those senior players rested for the game in Lyon - Baines, Jagielka and Rooney - are in contention for Sunday.
Defender Michael Keane [leg infection] trained on Thursday and "should be okay" for the visit of Watford.
Cuco is fine. His x-rays and scans came back clear. He came home with us and will be out for a couple of weeks."

"Both Benik Afobe and Junior Stanislas will miss this weekend," Eddie Howe confirmed.
AFCB will get a second opinion on Stanislas' injury: "At this stage it is unknown but we believe it's not as serious as we first thought.
"Benik should be back after Int' break and we have no other new concerns. King is a player we'll have to make a late decision on."

As suspected, Coutinho is ruled out. Klopp said as much after Maribor. "With the rest, it will be close." Wijnaldum could still feature.
Wijnaldum's ankle injury is "painful" and his involvement could be determined by whether he can cope with it. "We'll have to see."
Dejan Lovren [thigh] also facing a late test. A surprise return for Sadio Mane who was at Melwood yesterday. "Ready for 20-25 minutes."

FFS:

Pochettino on Kane: "He’s well, he feels good. It’s in the past and it’s good for us.”

Conte on Kante: "He's progressing well. We have also tomorrow & then I'll take the best decision for him, for the team.''
Conte: "I think during a season, it is important to make the rotation, if you play with the same players, they are tired.''
Conte confirms Moses is still sidelined for Chelsea's match with Man United.

FFS:

Hodgson on McArthur: "We have to be careful, as it's an ankle ligament complaint. We'll see how he's feeling after today's session.”
Hodgson on Benteke: “We're hoping Christian will be able to train almost fully with us over the international break.''
Hodgson: “Mama Sakho trained today, as did McArthur. Good to see those two back. Van Aanholt may train tomorrow, he's making progress.”

From Ben Dinnery:

Kompany will not play for Belgium during the break: "He is two months injured. He will stay here and hopefully start training."

Rafa confirms confirms Mikel Merino will miss the game with a back injury. Met with a specialist - could return after the break.

No way back for Jack. Rafa says Chancel Mbemba could play ahead of Colback in midfield if needed.

Paul Dummett [hamstring] is training again "but he is not ready yet."

Isaac Hayden had "little problems" during the build-up to the Burnley match. "But for this game, he is fine."

Lallana is close but hasn't trained with the team: "He will start next week. Then hopefully he can have 2 proper wks and be available."

Pochettino press conference 3/11:

  • Toby and Hugo are having scans this afternoon, we must wait for the assessment.
  • Wanyama is now training but not yet with the group.
  • Lamela should be available after the international break.
  • Kane is well, feels fine, the problem is in the past now.
  • We must use Wednesday's result to build confidence and we must be ready on Sunday. The challenge is to be focused.
  • Alli is an offensive midfielder, sometimes he is more in the box than a striker, sometimes we ask him to play deeper or wider - he can play in different positions.
  • The game against United was painful for us but after qualifying for the next stage of the CL it is important to play against Palace with the same attitude as against Real Madrid.

Guardiola press conference 3/11:

  • Hopefully we can recover well from our tough trip to Napoli.
  • Aguero and Jesus can play together but we need wide players and sometimes it is better to play Sterling and Sané, it depends on the quality of the opponents and the way we want to play, also sometimes to give a chance to other players.
  • After the international break everybody is going to play, you cannot play a whole season with the same 11 players.
  • I was happy last season so you can imagine how happy I am now. We must be focused on the next game.
  • Stones and Otamendi have been outstanding in the last 2 months, they did really well.
  • Even the best teams in the world, it is impossible to maintain what we have done in the last 2 months.
  • Raheem's last pass needs to improve but he is enjoying to score goals, he's not afraid to take a risk; a striker/winger needs to score goals and that is so important for us. We must not forget that he is 21 and he will improve, he has time and we are there to help.

Thanks for this Ruth. I just took a look at Alli`s heat-maps of all matches played until now in the league. In home games against easier opposition he really played as second striker with great stats. In away games he played deeper and against stronger opposition he played wide. So there is a high probability he will play as second striker against Palace.

I got him in, but looking how many people got Kane in for this GW, I`m just not brave enough to go with Alli as captain, but if you decide to do it, I really hope he outscores Kane, as think who is brave enough to do it, deserves to be awarded. :D

He is my only def sub if Davies doesn`t play and to be completely honest, not sure if I would rather have him playing against City than nice and secure 0 points. :?

From FFScout

Southgate on Phil Jones' thigh injury - "He seems fine, we've checked him out. It's something he's been carrying but he doesn't seem to be any worse so that's fine. We'll see whether Phil stays with us."

West Ham's Javier Hernandez suffers a suspected hamstring injury for Mexico and is forced off on 51 minutes.

Benitez on the return of Paul Dummett - "He is a player who will give you something different. Something we don’t have already."

Bony, Sanches, Britton & Olsson all expected to be in contention for Swansea City's trip to Burnley.

Liverpool hope for Sadio Mane's quick return from international duty after Senegal sealed their World Cup qualification.

Klopp on Moreno & Robertson - "Alberto [Moreno] is like a little machine, he never shows when he is tired and stuff like this. Andrew [Robertson] has had a little less rhythm."

Reports suggest that Chelsea's Tiemoue Bakayoko has suffered an injury in training.

Victor Moses steps up his recovery from a hamstring injury by confirming he has returned to “outdoor training”. Chelsea defender is pictured in individual training sessions.

Atsu ruled out of Ghana's qualifier with Egypt on Sunday with a confirmed thigh muscle tear.

Reports suggest that Stoke keeper Jack Butland will be out for 4-6 weeks with broken finger.

It was reported that an agreement was reached that he wouldn't play game 2 if they qualified after game 1.
