The Rounded Keeper - FPL Pub Talk & Matchday Banter 2017-18

Post by Joccki_10 »

Why did Fàb start?

Edit: And goes off in 56th minute. Surely he'll start at Stoke, will he not?

It hasn't been a difficult game and he played very well. I think he should start. Conte really likes having him in the team this season.

Hopefully will give him a bit more game time.

Thanks. As discussed in my RMT, I think if Fàbregas can keep his starting spot he could be excellent value at only £6.9.

90 mins for Jesus. Ugh. I'm regretting bringing him in. Should have taken a hit to free up funds for Aguero.

I don't think he's nailed. It was probably a mistake to play him, instead of Bakayoko, against Arsenal. I don't see him starting against City, for example.

Looks to me like Jesus gets rested against Palace, Aguero gets rested against Shakhtar and then both play @ Chelsea.

City have a big advantage next weekend, they have a home CL game on Tuesday while Chelsea have a very tough away CL game on Wednesday before the two meet on Saturday evening. That is a crucial game for Chelsea. Win it and the wind will be taken out of City's sails. Lose it and the gap will already be 6 points.

And with no Luiz. Who will be missed, despite Christensen's quality.

I'm not so sure, I think: Pepe prefers 3-5-2 and starts them both, then takes Jesus off when the match is safe; and when he goes 1 up top Jesus is the No1 pick. So Jesus gets his rest by being taken off, and Kun by not starting. My guess is that he wants to see something from Sterling and B Silva to make them worth picking from the start in a 1 up top formation\idea.

Oh my word.

Two minutes before the deadline I still had him and I was thinking about this exact situation. Bottled it a minute later and brought Joselu in for a hit. Efff...

Seriously annoyed, is Poch a moron?!

Trippier:

4th in opposition half touches for defenders
3rd in final third touched for defenders
3rd in opposition half passes received for defenders
2nd in final third passes received for defenders
Awarded points for 20% of Spurs goals

If I didn't have Alli and Eriksen I'd hope they get smashed now!!!!

only a fool would not have seen that poch is rotating at the back. Trip started in midweek, davies didnt so obviously trip would have been the fall guy for this game. And clearly his golden boy is sanchez who he has not dropped as of yet!

I'm struggling with the why drop Trippier thang when Levy has spunked a load of cash on a player that makes Ballotelli look bland and boring.
