Presumably it would have the potential to go to pens too for which there is no concept in FPL.

Yeah, I'm not certain this would count in FPL if it were to happen, as it technically wouldn't affect the actual Premier League table in any way, it'd just be to determine whether Arsenal or Liverpool get 4th.

It would be nice but as mentioned above, it doesn't form part of the league (only used to determine Europe entries, etc. but official positions and winnings would be shared) so won't count unfortunately. I'm curious to see if it would form part of the Sun Dream Team season though as they count everything but internationals (and even then that's only because they can't consistently get the data from all internationals).
