Re: Double Gameweek (DGW) Fixture Bulletin (GW34-37)
I'm probably a bit slow to the obvious here, but it's interesting that the DGW34 deadline is before both of the FA Cup semi-finals. So if any Chelsea, Spurs, Arsenal, Man City players gets injured in their cup semi final, it will be impossible to transfer them out before their teams' Premier League fixture.
For that reason, it could be too risky putting the captaincy AND vice captaincy on two players from these teams couldn't it? Though I guess most people will try to buy and captain Ibra anyway.
Thanks Stemania for the fixture updates. Hopefully tomorrow we will get the final confirmed fixtures announced.

The fixture announcements could prompt me to WC earlier than GW36

Re: Double Gameweek (DGW) Fixture Bulletin (GW34-37)
It's getting a bit late now. GW35 starts on 29th April. Though a rearranged game would slot in around 2/3rd May. Don't they need 2 weeks ideally for safety/logistical reasons? (although I know they've arranged on less notice before now)
I guess we could be waiting another week for his information. And the S'ton Arsenal game could then turn out to be in 36 which would be quite unappetising imo. Surprised if either club would want a 'double double' fortnight though.

Why is it taking so much time? Everything has been very settled for weeks, so what are they pondering?
Just announce those eff fixtures.

I'm away at the moment (gratuitous holiday plug - have just walked past the Camp Nou!), so if someone could quickly look through and confirm the above provisional list is all correct that would be great. It should be, but i wouldn't want to leave the incorrect info there long.
The ones in the above were the only ones left to arrange.

I've now (finally) updated the OP to take into account all 'provisional' fixtures becoming 'confirmed' fixtures.

Re: Double Gameweek (DGW) Fixture Bulletin (GW34-37)
I see a lot of people wildcarding early but I'm almost certainly on that train. My team is fine for the moment so I see no need to risk getting in players who might get injured or dropped.Paulista wrote:So all aboard the 36WC and 37BB train?
I haven't seen much of it but I assume 36WC and 37BB will be the vast majority right? I'd be looking at getting 3-6 Arsenal and Southampton in the WC then any finetuning in 37 with the BB. I don't see any reason to do BB in 34 myself.

I haven't been browsing this a lot, but isn't WC35, TC36 and BB37 a decent strategy? Guess many used the TC on Kun earlier.

MUN and sot are not good fixtures for a TC. If I hadn't used it already I'd definitely save it for GW37 and use the bench boost another time.Jukebox wrote:I haven't been browsing this a lot, but isn't WC35, TC36 and BB37 a decent strategy? Guess many used the TC on Kun earlier.

I'm thinking this. Sanchez TC against United and Saints could be points galore. And go for a WC team loaded up with GW37 doublers.Jukebox wrote:I haven't been browsing this a lot, but isn't WC35, TC36 and BB37 a decent strategy? Guess many used the TC on Kun earlier.
