If he starts, he's the obvious choice. It's a risk, as he may be on the bench again. You just don't know with Pep... it wouldn't surprise me at all if he just changed a winning side and threw Aguero back in. I'll most likely take my chances with him.Arsenal4EvERr wrote:Would it be stupid to captain Aguero over Kane?

Kane C, Lukaku VC for me.
The bookies put Kane well ahead of the two too, the 'being on pens' effect a big factor imo.

Not many going for Liverpool options, according to the FISO poll. I briefly flirted with the notion of a Coutinho punt but have since disregarded. Think Mané/Firmino/Coutinho have pretty good points potential this week.

Without a doubt it would be on KdB if I had the balls to bring him in despite the likely blank in GW 26.
As it stands it will be on Lukaku..

Why don't you'll think he will start, you think that Guardiola has just dropped Agüero and starts Jesus every week?

Re: GW24 Captaincy Poll
Captain: Kane
Vice captain: Sanchez, though I might change this to Siggy since I have Courtois, azpilicueta, and Alonso in my FPL team and Sky sports team so I want him to do well but not too well so it doesn't mess up my other trios performance

Re: GW24 Captaincy Poll
tough call this week.
Was thinking Lukaku but can you really trust this guy. Ibo may be a safer bet. I'm even toying with a cheeky Brunt (C) but dont think im crazy enough unfortunately.

Exactly the same. Seriously considering bringing him in and that would be for a hit. Those blanks just put a big spanner in the works.Resonare wrote:Without a doubt it would be on KdB if I had the balls to bring him in despite the likely blank in GW 26.

I'm of the opinion, and its no more than that, that after the performance the other night, Guardiola sticks with what worked so very well. Helps that he sees Jesus as the future of the club.Carlos Kickaball wrote:If he features at all by the odds, and if he doesn't feature you get your VC.Bob Newhart wrote:From the bench?Carlos Kickaball wrote:Agüero is ahead of both.Stemania wrote:Kane C, Lukaku VC for me. I dont think he'll start Jesus every week over Aguero, not at all, but I do think he'll do so this week, after the Brazillian's top show at Wet Spam. All about shwing confidence in him to build his confidence etc...
As for getting your VC, my view is that if he's on the bench he'll see pitch time. How much is somewhat random though, and could be the dread 1m cameo.

Incredibly tough choice between Lukaku and Kane this week, in my opinion.
Have both and have been switching the armband between the pair all day.

Think Costa may be a clever pic, Chelsea average three goals at home and they owe Arsenal one, I think they will be fired up for this and Costa has previous will h them.

Zlatan has fallen down my list a bit after consideration.
I think Kane might have to get it. He's got a goal or two in him at home and there's no Chambers and no Friend.
After 2 draws, Spurs know this is must win and I'm expecting goals.

If I had him, I'd 100% captain Aguero. As it stands, I am undecided between Lukaku and KDB. Will be a last minute call for me, this one, I think

It's rare for an attacking sub - generally brought in if it's a game to be won/saved. Can be a consideration if it's a defensive one

Guardian Squad sheets has just Jesus leading up front (Aguero on bench); FFS predicts Aguero will be resurrected and Jesus will play out wide (providing the crosses).
In normal circumstances I would say 1 out of 2 isn't good enough - if there is no consensus then Aguero is by definition "risky" so in normal circumstances I would avoid armbanding.
That said, if I had enough faith to have £12.8m invested in him, I think captaining is the only option. I would crucify myself if Aguero scored big and I had lost faith.
