Re: GW24 Captaincy Poll
Kane or Alli look the obvious ones, for most. I don't have either, so I'll likely go for Lukaku (assuming I bring him in), but will also consider Eriksen and Ibra.

Re: GW24 Captaincy Poll
Kane (C)
Lukaku (V)
These guys are neck and neck over on the FFS poll, and I can barely split them either. Both at home, both with good fixtures their teams are expected to win. Bournemouth have conceded more goals recently than Middlesbrough so maybe Lukaku is the smarter pick, but Kane has pens and Spurs are a better team than Everton so I think he just about edges it for me.

Leicester are so bad.
Zlatan (C)
United have been unlucky. I think they will give someone a hiding soon.

Lukaku. If he blanks he's out.

Re: GW24 Captaincy Poll
I noticed that as well when checking his stats, only a total of 3 shots against Stoke and Palace, all off target. But those games were both away from Goodison.amaruu wrote:Has ti be Lukaku because of fixtures but his form and statistics are terrifying

Surprised Kane is such an overwhelming favorite. Boro have allowed fewer goals than Liverpool, City and West Brom. Ignore their position on the table. Their defence is very respectable.

I'm going Kane at home vs a poor away team. When has that ever gone wrong?

I have to say that I do fancy Costa to score against Arsenal.

A big score will happen at some point and Zlatan will be the guy dishing it out

Re: GW24 Captaincy Poll
Don't have Kane or Lukaku.. buy surely Aguero has to be a better shout than Ibra??
Am I alone in thinking that ?

Depends if you want to risk a benching and coming on for a point when the team are 4-0 up and cruising.abuhaneefah wrote:Don't have Kane or Lukaku.. buy surely Aguero has to be a better shout than Ibra??

Re: GW24 Captaincy Poll
Is it mad to consider Walker ahead of Kane and Alli? I've got a feeling Spurs could struggle to break Boro down and I don't like the look of many in my team as captain.
Edit: Plus I've captained Kane unsuccessfully against HUL, BUR, sun. I don't know if I've got it in me to do it again...

Yea if he had stayed on the bench I would have got 9 from CrouchBobMem wrote:Depends if you want to risk a benching and coming on for a point when the team are 4-0 up and cruising.abuhaneefah wrote:Don't have Kane or Lukaku.. buy surely Aguero has to be a better shout than Ibra??

Re: GW24 Captaincy Poll
last GW there were multiple options with great fixtures and none of them performed, this GW it doesn't look great so what are the odds of an unexpected haul?
really unsure what to do..........
Sanchez will be back down the middle I think but away V Chelsea is such a tough game
Ibra has blanked a couple now but think he has been unlucky in both, Leicester are poor but are all the fixtures catching up with United?
Not sure I trust Spurs to cut loose as they sometimes toil against teams who have no intention of attacking
City look best bet for the big win this GW and I'm tempted to bring in one of their players for the next two fixtures, If I do then I think I will captain whoever I bring in - Sterling, KDB, Jesus
problem is they then blank and I'm trying to avoid players who blank in GW26, can't decide if the two excellent next fixtures (and a very good GW27) will make up for a blank in GW26?

I am convinced Costa will score against Arsenal but I might bring in Jesus or Lukaku for Ibra and captain whichever I bring in.

Was thinking Firmino (Hull away) but after their performance at OT I am looking to Lukaku.

If Kane was ever to deliver as captain, it should be this round. There, I jinxed it.

Would it be stupid to captain Aguero over Kane?
