Actually having analysed it all I think I've been awfully unlucky but I also made bad transfers last week and with hindsight I should have seen it. So I am sanguine; somehow I prefer to find an error than just bad luck; I can work on my errors

And I'm still richer than most so all is possible

there's nothing to be ashamed of, the forum's about sharing opinions AND advice if requested
I myself only got now for the first time in the top 10k overall in my 3rd season, and still don't mostly have a clue, I "improve by osmosis" by just being here

I see btw from your profile that you're quite active in Fiso, although mainly in SDT FF forum

just the three usual bits of advice for those new to FPL and Fiso FPL forum

• - as in SDT, in FPL forum we have a RMT subforum too, if you're interested in other members opinions about how to improve your team specifically
  
  - you can make the link to your team Gameweek History page available to other members, by copying it into your Edit Profile ucp.php?i=164
  that's the purpose of the " fpl" Button you see under many posters' avatar
  that would make easier for other members to check your team without needing you to post all the details
  of course the moves and changes for your next GW won't be visible to anyone, till after the GW deadline
  
  - you can always join the official FISO Forum League, even now, it's open to all members (currently 1103 teams in it, 2 joined just now)

none of the above is mandatory of course

this GW 107p is outstanding, not only because it's a Century (30k 100+p scores in FPL GW21), but mainly as it's top 9k in GW Ranking
it would place you 10th in the Forum League GW21 scores
I also see you were in the top 4k FPL overall in GW6 advice sought or just gleaned here might help you to regain the lost ground

he's not our famous Mav3rick tho, as he posted earlier he got 109p

"Maverick Supersonic" top gw score also lifted him to 3rd in the Forum League

29 Centurions this GW in the Forum League, ~30k overall in FPL

after several GWs, N1ckj takes the lead from Shack Attack!
and replaces him as our sole Top1k-er
baganboy sticks 4th, as the place lost to MavSuper got regained thanks to Stevieste slipping to 14th

in general, Fiso League average pretty good this gw, with 69.4p (68.07p after deductions),
much better than 56p FPL avg, albeit a bit short of Top 100k 72p

Gained a few k just to get there with that score as that league is more competitive than someone might think. Also the random factor wasn't in my favour the first few weeks(another way of saying I didn't score high enough). Even so I seem to nearly be catching up to some league teams that started GW one. Haven't really honed a definitive tactic in this game after a few seasons. As you say it seems gradual progress seems the norm.
