It would be different if you knew the manager like a ML as that is good fun with the banter and competition.

My team is not going to be fully geared for the coming blank weeks, so if I do not get beaten in the FPL Cup before then that is when I go out.
My long term strategy without the cup is for gains from a consistent team and double game week points if they come (but who can tell what teams and players will perform this season.
Captain Ibra again this week.

As expected knocked out of the cup by a better team. Lukaku did the damage and two of my players getting yellow cards did not help.
Playing TDav and benching Snodgrass was a poor choice as well.
Hoping for an Ibra haul and a De Gea clean sheet to help with OR and not be a totally bad week.

I'm 72 with Ibra.

Definitely never been this far.

Next opponents are up. I've got an inactive team (last transfer GW16) ranked 424k. Looks a decent enough line up though. Big threats from Hazard, Costa and Defoe vs my Sanchez, Lukaku and Kane.
I'd already decided to captain Ibra, so that cancels out.
Walker and De Gea also worry me in defence. I have Alonso and Heaton.
Stones and Williams make up his defence, vs my Coleman and Brunt.
Finally Whelan, Lallana and Mane vs my Sigurdsson, Phillips and Barkley in midfield.

Not easy to call, and only 1 player in common. I could even switch captaincy to Sanchez to make it 11 differences!

Reckon you'll be safe.

A lot more attacking threat from the likes of Alonso, Coleman, Brunt than his alternatives at the back.
Mane / Lallana may decide to finally reappear, but would be more confident in Phillips & Barkley there as well.

The Chelsea game could be the decider - if Haz/Costa have big weeks then it'll be squeaky bum time!
