Stones > Cedric
Aguero > Kane
Dropping Aguero frees up funds for Coutinho > Hazard next week. I expect this decision will be a big determinant of my season rank, for better or worse.

Zaha switching from England to Ivory Coast could also have an impact on Pardew's plans for/relationship with him.. Knowingly making a decision that could mean he misses 6 weeks surely won't go down too well...ZeroRemorse wrote:Opinion on Zaha or Philips?

Re: GW14 transfers
Finally got rid of the disastrous Fuchs last night - what a let down he's been after last season. Cedric in so hoping for something other than blanks and yellow cards.
Not sure what else (if anything) to do next - haven't had Arsenal cover for a while....would have to take a -8 to get Sanchez in though. Would involve Hazard & Firmino out for Pedro & Sanchez....almost went through with it last night but seemed a bit drastic. Could easily change my mind by the end of the week though

No transfers. Already got the band wagons Kane/Siggy. Haven't owned Coutinho all season.
Six teams including Arsenal pays in the league cup mid week, so lots of risk going early

Another -8
Koscienly -> Cedric

Re: GW14 transfers
I'm having a mare, taking out Austin was a big mistake and I now want him back in.
Also think Hazard ties up too much value with Pedro scoring just as well at a fraction of the price.
Considering this for a -12 :
Lukaku Kane
Coutinho Sigurdsson
Anichebe Austin
Hazard Pedro
Is this madness? Ideally, I'd keep Hazard but I need to fund Kane/Austin.

Lukaku Kane
Redmond Hojberg
Both for free.
Not mad keen on losing Redmond given his fixtures, but he's been very frustrating to own, I have Allen as a playable fourth mid and, well, I have to fund 'Arry somehow!

Re: GW14 transfers
the latter
i was 50/50 on taking either Hazard or Pedro few weeks ago and I unfortunately I went for Hazard. I could really use that extra 2.5 elsewhere atm

Re: GW14 transfers
Thanks mate. I'm torn now because I've realised the latter would also require a -4 hit, probably Brunt to McCauley, because of Coutinho's price drop last night.tarkens wrote:the latter

Also, the former would leave me with enough money to also upgrade Heaton to Courtois. Decisions, decisions!

Re: GW14 transfers
Yeah but the cost of sticking was too much. Lukaku dropped Sunday. Coutinho both Sunday and Monday. Kane rose today. Many of the popular Coutinho replacements are close to our have risen. You could lose 0.5 to wait for League Cup games. too big of risk to wait IMO.sjaugen wrote:Six teams including Arsenal pays in the league cup mid week, so lots of risk going early

Still mulling over this big time - haven't been this traumatised by transfers in a whileCartman78 wrote:Finally got rid of the disastrous Fuchs last night - what a let down he's been after last season. Cedric in so hoping for something other than blanks and yellow cards.

Latest thinking is Aguero Kane and Allen Walcott
or Benteke Kane and Hazard Pedro/Walcott

Re: GW14 transfers
I took out Sanchez and Mane for Firmino/Hazard 2 GW's ago.
I just got rid of an injured Coutinho and I now want Sanchez and Mane back.
How times can change in fantasy football.. These early flags need to stop as well.
This week I've decided to go
Coutinho Siggy
Redmond Zaha
Building funds to lead to
Firmino Sanchez
Capoue Fletcher
Even with Liverpools fixture, I can see the goals drying up a little, I like Mane but not willing to commit to him, until I see how good Pool are without Coutinho. Lallana is due back soon and might become a cheaper viable option to Mane/Firmino.
I don't like Firmino's situation with Origi around, I think he will be forced outwide and he can't cut in and score bangers like Coutinho can.
