Anichebe
Right then. Where has he emerged from? Barely played a minute then bags 3 goals in 2 games, with Defoe bagging the other one.
I was eyeing up Defoe, but now i'm seeing this guy 3 mil cheaper bagging more goals.
What are people's thought's on his going forward? Is he going to continue to play now?

Re: Anichebe
I've just got him in for Rashford to free up some cash. Will have to play him next week after Allen's 5th yellow. Meant to be bench fodder, but we'll see.

Re: Anichebe
Has he been injured up until now or what? Or is this a new formation that accommodates an extra striker than before?
Any Sunderland fans out there?

Re: Anichebe
Even if he continues to play he's not a good FPL prospect in my opinion, unless you're utilising him as bench fodder in a 3-5-2 and really need the funds.
I don't know if he'll continue to play but even if he stays fit (a big if) then Borini, Januzaj & Khazri will all compete with him for gametime as he's, apparently, been playing as one of the wingers/inside forwards in a front three.

Re: Anichebe
Surely he has to play - 2 games for Anichebe leads to Sunderlands only 2 wins?
He's big/strong, holds the ball up well, can finish and is now in form.

Re: Anichebe
Probably get him in as cheap striker to free up fund for midfield. If he plays great otherwise Capoue plays, something like that

Re: Anichebe
I've bought him in but with the idea of shifting to a 3-5-2 in a few GWs. Looks nailed and the difference for Sunderland in the last few games.

Re: Anichebe
What are we thinking now then?
His stats appeared far superior to Defoe's in the 2 games he played before this one and his returns reflected that to a degree.
Was he unlucky no bag when Defoe didn't or is Defoe simply a superior pick.

I've got him and I think he was the man for Sunderland this weekend so I think he's nailed for the moment. And he's rising steadily in value

Re: Anichebe
Borini is back so that could cut into Anichebe's gametime.
