Reluctantly took my first hit last week as I had six flagged players and ultimately still only fielded ten men. Worked out positively points-wise but still an indelible black mark in my GW history.

Tried this last year for the whole season. Eventually ended up taking two hits in the last 5 GWs.

Still no hits this season but it sure is a matter of time

I have resigned my membership for this year. Coutinho's injury pushed me over the edge.

And another one this week. No chance with Coutinho injury. I hate hits as they rarely work out in my favor. For example, while Siggy came through with 10, my alternate transfer was Austin who bagged 9. As a result I ended up a net -3. Maybe that's worth it to get Siggy in but probably not, especially with Coutinho out now.

Although I'm sure I need to take a hit next week to get either Costa or Kane in. Hazard is also in my shopping list but I'm not sure how to get him unless I sell Sanchez.

1. Sigurdsson in. Firmino out. (2-2) = 0
2. Kane in. Lukaku Out. (13-1) = 12
3. Kane captain. (alternately Aguero captain). (13+1) = 14

22 points gained. Happy about that.

I met a Kiwi Kick & slap in Oz around 1986, had some great nights out, one ended up in a brawl (can't remember why) and he did the business most efficiently without putting down the Pizza

I didn't take a single hit till GW11. It's unlike me and it runs counter to my usual strategy. I played the first quarter of the season far too quiescently.

Since then I have taken 4 hits including one this week. Instead of wringing my hands about the state of my team I am putting it in a shape I'm happy with. I should have done so earlier. Ah well.
