I'm on .1 profit as it stands, and can afford a drop before I lose that. With champions league games this week I will wait until they pass, before shipping him out, keeping an eye on potential price rises ofcourse

KDB has only gone from +50odd to -12.9% so far, you should have time, unless news breaks tomorrow that's he's out for 10-12 weeks, that could force the issue.

Pep is upbeat; 2 1/2 to 3 weeks which is only 2 PL matches. Might be bench fodder first though....

At -99.3% so first drop pretty certain before the deadline. Whether it's two drops this GW and how low it will get before he's fit remains to be seen. My guess is that he will be lucky not to drop below his starting price.

Anybody for Hazard to De Bruyne or is he just too dear?

He'll justify his price and then some if Pep keeps playing him centrally and City keep performing like they did Saturday.

The Manchester derby may be off GW26 if United reach the league cup final though, so this alone makes him far less tempting.

This. I'm not adding a player who'll go missing in 3 weeks, especially one that is expensive.

Well... any City player is a risk because of Pep's rotation. You'd think he'd play his best team every game for a while but that has been said before.

That said, City's next 3 fixtures are very nice and GW24 is a strong captaincy shout. They also played very well against Spurs and were cruelly unlucky not to win. For a non-Aguero team, KDB might be worth a short-term risk with the idea of switching back to Hazard in GW26 (when KDB may well have a blank anyway). Depends if you are willing to take that risk and have the FTs spare.

KDB looks like a rip-off now if Pep plays the 4-3-3 regularly to accommodate the trio of Sterling, Sane and Jesus. With KDB in the midfield three, he is playing far too deep to be worth over 10M.

I'm also not a fan of his goal output, 4 goals in 23 appearances doesn't look pretty.

Yes, he was far too deep. Neat and tidy, but little goal threat. I'll.hold him until after Sunderland away, other priorities before that.

He's also not playing a full 90 minutes which doesn't help either

Yeah, I was an idiot to swap Hazard for him before the Arsenal game.

Swansea and Bournemouth just looked too good though. He's gone after the Bournemouth fixture, probably trading Hazard back :/

Earlier in the season I said he was too deep, and he was playing behind a front three then; he did however manage to get quite a few points after that, but he was on set pieces then.

For anyone holding then this is food for thought. KDB not in The Guardian's predicted City's line-up tomorrow: https://www.theguardian.com/football/20 ... ch-preview

So what is that prediction based on? Every other site is predicting him to start, so I'd want to hear some arguments for that prediction until I think it's credible.

The Guardian's teamsheets are ridiculous anyways.

I have no idea how credible their source of info is, the preview is written by Ben Fisher. His twitter handle is @benfisherj. Why not tweet him and ask why KDB isn't in his predicted line-up? (edit: someone did so two hours ago, no reply) I transferred out KDB a couple of days ago for Pogba. I was merely sharing the info because I came across it whilst checking to see if Mendy was in the predicted lineup as I own him in a draft game.

I don't know which of the City fan forums are most reliable but worth having a dig there, if there are multiple sources that have him benched then it's more credible.

Ben Fisher probably transferred KDB out in his fantasy team and posted this line-up out of wishful thinking.

There do seem to be rumours bouncing around FFS about him not starting... is this all from a rogue predicted lineup in the press?

Seems Pep doesn't want him to move forward when there are more than three players in front of him. Ridiculous.. what a waste of qualities as well, Pep can blow one.

He's gone. Question is who to get. He'll probably drop tonight.

Sorry KDB but you've got to go. Playing far too deep and not involved enough in the final third.

Great player but not returning any points and certainly not worth the price tag.

Played really well, makes City tick. But has become like what Cazorla was for Arsenal - their most important player, but the deepest lying attacking player. Modric for Real, say. And that's perhaps a 7M player. He is leaving my team soon.

Goes for one of Mane or Alleriksen for me probably.
