First draft:

Foster/Jakupovic
Valencia/Williams/4.5/Pieters/Amat
Sanchez/Sterling/Coutinho/Antonio/Capoue
Aguero/Lukaku/Benteke

Or
Foster -> 4.5
Sanchez -> KDB
and upgrade Williams or 4.5 def or Coutinho -> Firmino

Technical issue - I have already made 3 transfer since last night. Howevever, when I try and hit the "play wildcard" button I get:

"To activate your wildcard you must be making enough proposed transfers that points will be deducted."

Any idea what's going on? thanks

Try activating the wildcard at the same time as making transfers?

Ok, I've managed to get it by making another transfer then activating the WC. Thanks

You must read a -4 as current cost
The cost you already confirmed is in the books already, indeed if you open again the transfers page you read cost 0

You just need to put in a mock transfer so you read -4, and the wildcard button will enable
Once you play it, you can take back the mock tranfer
Wildcard won't be definitely active until you CONFIRM

Barkley is a goner for me. Debating who to pick up in his place. Downgrading Ibra to De Bruyne, so I have a bit of cash to upgrade Barkley to a 9/8.5er.

Contemplating about Mane + Ozil vs Sanchez + Lallana. Any thoughts?!

Is Capoue the only one set to rise tonight?

I asked about it few days ago, but anyone considering Rashford as a cheap way into United attack?

Jakupovic/Pickford
Amat/McAuley/Lovren/Coleman/5m defender
De Bruyne/Sanchez/Payet/Capoue/Carrick
Aguero/Lukaku/Rashford

This is what I will most probably be going for.
Cannot think of a more balanced and potential squad, considering my current cash. :)

It of course depends how CP's match ends but I'm thinking of ditching Zlatan for Benteke and upgrading one of my mids to KDB.

I'm thinking 'so long template, nice knowing you'.

Ibra out for Rashford
Hazard already out
Stones out

Allowing Aguero, Lukaku, Mane, Sterling, Sanchez/Firmino.

I'm tempted to transfer in a Watford striker. They have really nice fixtures.

Considering one of the two templates below - it'll be hard to choose who to be benched as almost all of the players have nice fixtures ahead, but still I feel these sets are really powerful.

N.B. Second option leaves me with 0.2 ITB (first one with none)

Have had a good tinker today and I'd be surprised if I strayed too far from this:

Foster, Pickford
Valencia, Lovren, Holebas, Friend, Amat
Sanchez, Firmino, Sterling, Antonio, Capoue
Aguero, Lukaku, Deeney

Capoue as a 5th midfielder and benched every week despite his great fixtures?

Yes, absolutely. I don't think it wise to play him as a fourth mid, though I may play my AoA chip one week. We'll see.

Considering playing Capoue every week myself. I am annoyed at missing out on his points each week, and he certainly has the form and fixtures. Not that I expect him to maintain this level of performance mind, but it would allow me to keep all the big hitters.

Fer (bought for £5.2m, now £5.3) and Baines/Coleman (£5.4-£5.6m)
OR
Snodgrass (£5.6m) and Ashley Williams (£5.0m)

I should be able to afford any of these combos by the end of the wildcard....though Baines could be a stretch.
Any thoughts on which you'd choose?

Baines/Shaw/Evans/Walker/Amat
KDB/Antonio/Chadli/Fletcher/Bolasie
Aguero/Costa/Lukaku

Looks pretty good, the only questions marks are:

- how long will both those goalies keep their place? (a question we're all asking)

- brave punt in Chadli, but despite this weekend's performance I don't see WBA suddenly becoming prolific.

I really like Bolassie, but sadly not sure I'll be able to squeeze him in.

Activating WC but don't know how to utilise 1.9 cash

Foster/Jakupovic
Valencia/Coleman/Stones/Evans/Amat
Sanchez/Sterling/Antonio/Capoue/Fer
Aguero/Lukaku/Benteke

1. Upgrade Benteke to Costa (is it worth) and downgrade Fer to 4.8.
2. Upgrade Sterling to KDB (too much investment in midfield?)
3. Upgrade defender. Any candidate to consider?
4. Any other thoughts?

Pickford/Jakupovic
Walker/Coleman/Lovren/McAuley/Amat
Sanchez/Payet/Sterling/Snodgrass/Capoue
Aguero/Lukaku/Deeney

0.0 ITB

Could do Deeney -> Rashford and use that 0.1 to upgrade Coleman to Baines, but is it really an upgrade? Besides we don't know if Rashford is nailed even though he scored against Watford
Sterling -> Firmino another potential move, Liverpool fixtures are looking good

another draft:

Pickford/Jakupovic
Valencia/Williams/Lovren/McAuley/Amat
Payet/Sterling/Coutinho/Capoue/Carrick
Aguero/Ibrahimovic/Lukaku

no Sanchez means hiding behind a sofa whenever Arsenal plays

Why don't you take an extra City mid? Arsenal mid can be taken after their match vs Chelsea.
Otherwise, Walcott & Firmino seems like the best scenario to me.
