So it doesn't make a big difference, though. This week Hazard, Sanchez (with Giroud out), Costa and maybe Lukaku look like possible 15+ scorers.
Obviously 15 points is a quite satisfying return for TC, but you are far more likely to get it in DGW.

To be honest, I think we will get some DGW fixtures where a total of 15 points is even likely (without injury), whereas no player is ever likely to score 15 points in any single match.

I think he will be benched and get 10-30 minutes.

He can easily start sanchez up front and play both iwobi and ox against Burnley.

Why risk him back into starting?

He's training with the rest of the team from yesterday (4 days before game with Burnley). Scored in all 5 previous games. No game for a week after Burnley. He starts.

I cannot afford him without dropping players i want to keep so hoping he doesn't :-)

Its probaby 50:50. If i had him i would hold and hope but those that don't have him should be cautious about bringing him in I think.

The thing is I'm considering Sanchez as a triple-captain option if Giroud doesn't play.
If Giroud plays, Sanchez is not my first option even as a captain.

Well Giroud's available so can't see him not starting really.

I'm thinking of getting Giroud in for a hit as I need to boot Carroll soon and Carroll has a yellow 'i' now.

Don't.

I know Burnley's away record is really bad, but we've stopped shipping as many goals as earlier in the season. Just 7 in the last 5 away games, which included trips to Tottenham and Man City.

If you were going to triple captain someone in a single gameweek I'd do it when they're playing Sunderland, Hull or Swansea.

Oh, I expect a defeat, but don't think it'll be a cricket score.

Spurs and City probably expected to rack up a few goals as well.

And they didn't, so Burnley are 'due' a hiding so that things even out and all becomes right with the world again. Particularly as 10-man City effectively let Burnley off the hook somewhat, and Burnley still couldn't get even a draw against them.

If you're talking about things being "due", Burnley must be "due" an away win soon :P

Not really, because Dyche's tactics for every away game is to park the bus with bad defenders, (hence why it doesn't work and as a result Burnley aren't due anything). :)

Bragging about a 98th minute offside penalty?

Arsenal suffered a red card and were defending a lead so was likely also a tactical decision.

He can't score every single game. I'm definitely keeping him for Watford at home.

So what are Giroud owners doing now? Is his game time secure with Walcott back? Subbed at half time last night and seems to have lost his scoring boots now.

Arsenal have a tough game at Chelsea but then Hull at home. Is it worth holding Giroud and hoping he plays the Hull game? Lukaku looks tempting and alot appear to be making that move, no doubt with the blanks in mind too.

Was already planning a move to Lukaku and this only strengthens the reason for doing so.
Will probably bench Sanchez for blank gw26 but Giroud seems the far more obvious "sell".

All of this, absolutely. I think Giroud's place probably is in doubt now, and I'm not sure holding him through the Chelsea game is worthwhile when Lukaku has a pretty much guaranteed 180 mins vs BOU & mid (AND covers the blanks). If we could be certain he starts the Hull game, fair enough, but we can't, which makes a hold look far less appealing.

I think I'll Giroud to Lukaku this week, assuming no other issues arise.

I thought Burnley got beat in the end?

I was agreeing about that, not about any use of a treble captain.
