After my monumental balls up this weekend, I'll be playing it decidedly safe;
Aguero (C)
Hazard (VC)

1) He wasn't in my squad and
2) I've never heard of him.

Re: GW3 Captain
Some club (Watford ?) have some uber Greek (?) left back playing as WB or midfield, depending on which poster is right. I think his name begins with an H. sounds good to me. Failing that whichever Manc CF is at home, or maybe Costa? But then this could be Everton;s first CS and Baines pops up with a goal, assist and 3 BP'sblahblah wrote:Maybe this is the time to bring in someone I have never heard of and band him?JVRB48 wrote:liquidfootball2 wrote:I'll go with Kun probably although its a tough decision but perhaps Hull's start will mean their confidence is a lot higher than I had anticipated.

Re: GW3 Captain
keep swapping between Aguero and Ibra, thinking just put the captaincy on whoever is at home, but although Hull have started well I keep coming back to the fact that I think West Ham are a much better team than Hull.
I expect both United/City to win but reading the team news and if West Ham do have some of their players back they could put up more of a fight than Hull. I know Hull have started well but if Ibra can isolate Livermore he could run riot.
not sure at all which one to pick

There's not much of a question for me this week, Aguero (C), Ibrahimovic (VC).

Re: GW3 Captain
I didn't captain Aguero vs West Ham last season and he scored a brace. Ignoring Aguero on fire is a dangerous game that normally ends up with you being burnt.Gambit wrote:keep swapping between Aguero and Ibra, thinking just put the captaincy on whoever is at home, but although Hull have started well I keep coming back to the fact that I think West Ham are a much better team than Hull.

Re: GW3 Captain
I was all set on ibra but now I'm torn between ibra, kun and hazard. Arguably Chelsea have the easiest game of all. I think they will thrash burnley and if they do hazard will get a goal and an assist or two. Hull at home will be stubborn but Utd should win by 2 or 3 with aerial presence of ibra picking up a goal. Man city have got the toughest game, West Ham are decent and this game could be closer. You can't back against kun at home and he will get chances.
The more I think about it Hazard seems an inspired choice.
Hazard (c)
Ibra (v)

I'd love to do a reverse-style early kick off mentality and back Firmino to find the net against Spurs, maybe against a less-match ready Michel Vorm.
But alas it's Kun for me.

Played it safe with Aguero, as planned. Last week's disaster has put me off punting for a while!

Hehe loving the Goose tributes.
Either stupid or inspired (by SplimSpam's post) I did a last minute change from Aguero to Hazard!

Yes indeed, was looking for a quick pic that had Goose and the words Maverick, the headline was surplus to requirements my fellow lover (I presume) of 80's movies
