Fuchs at -96 on FPL but only -10 on FFFx
what is going on for such a massive discrepancy?

Re: Price changes
As I understand it, players who have risen, can drop back when they lose the transfers they accrued to rise. As a result, players that start with fairly high ownership, and attract more owners tend to seem to drop very quickly, as the target they reached for the last rise is only a small percentage of their ownership.Mav3rick wrote:Is the price change algorithm this year promoting reverse bandwagons - i.e. that you just have to sell anyone in these situations immediately because you get financially punished for holding on?
I'm not certain this is correct, but it makes sense and I have heard it before.

Re: Price changes
Just noticed Stones is still worth 5.0m. FFFix has him likely to drop every night now since last GW. Would be nice if he still is 5.0 after this weeks deadline so I can swap him out immediately.

Re: Price changes
Tbh it was never likely he was going to survive until after the deadline - transfer activity on Fridays is obviously much heavier than other days, so quite often even players who are no where near the threshold on Friday morning make it by Friday night - Joccki_10 you had just better hope he won't drop again tonight! (I'm joking - unless he's announced as injured etc, his rate will be nowhere near enough for that - people have too many other transfer problems to sort out right now! )nufctoon wrote:Aaaand there is the drop. 4.9m.Joccki_10 wrote:Just noticed Stones is still worth 5.0m. Well I wanted to do Snodgrass Højbjerg for funds either way so I won't be priced out should he drop again. Re: Price changes
Coutinho has lost 800k owners so far this GW, which is pretty impressive. Almost half his ownership has sold him!
It could have an interesting effect on his future price, in that at least 400k transfers have effectively been "wasted" as far as price changes are concerned so his price may drop less in future. I'd still guess another 0.2 at least off this coming week though.

Unlike Ibrahimovic, Coutinho was not an early favourite, thus many of the Coutinho owners are active team owners....

I seem to remember Coutinho (and Negredo) were the two first early bandwagons. He rose 0.1 GW 2, with 620,000 NTI in 6 days, and then another price rise by GW3.baganboy wrote:Unlike Ibrahimovic, Coutinho was not an early favourite, thus many of the Coutinho owners are active team owners....

Re: Price changes
That's often the trade off though isn't it...the idea is that the team value will pay for itself in terms of points in the latter stages. (or Christmas onwards)Weisenwolf wrote:Shame my points aren'tPaulista wrote:Your team value is incredible.Weisenwolf wrote:Kane is over +300%
Unless we're back last season which was ridiculous - team value and points were in direct proportion from Day1!! (can't see that ever happening again)
Price swings last night were already steep. There was/is an opportunity to gain large value and improve points projection if moving early.

Re: Price changes
Yea Aguero getting sent off releases a monstrous mountain of money most of which is being spent on a small group of premium players. Lots of it is wasted though; Kane can still only go up once a day no matter how many NTI he has.

However, it seems as if you have less self-control in taking hit points than me, which takes some...
It's a very decent team if you stop monkeying around and get your captain choices right.

Yes 64 points in hits to make up over the remaining 24 games. Will my additional funds equate to more than 3 points per week? Re: Price changes
Joe Allen's progress has been on 0% since this GW started - does his suspension last week mean that his price can't change this week? If so, that's a bit of a disaster for me, given that (due to fixtures and which GWs I need my 5th mid to play), I sold him and kept Gundog (who looks like falling tomorrow, and probably again say Friday).
