Re: Price changes
I think those are players who were thinking about bringing in Aguero for Costa, but based on fixtures Aguero wasn't a better shout for the next 2 gameweeks.
Those news about Costa just made the decision easy.
I'm one of these 21.168

He'll probably drop in price tonight and tomorrow and then once more during the week.

Why would he be? He's not injured he's effectively not selected just like most of the squad.tarkens wrote:and he's not even flagged yet...

Re: Price changes
He never really recovered from the one match ban, that cost him 4 drops. Lord alone knows how far he will go down this time; he's still £1.2M above his GW0 price so the potential has to be there.Paulista wrote:Nope, he's just dropping at a phenomenal rate.Sutter Kane wrote:What the hell; on fpl stats he's on -72 now!! At the fear of appearing to buy in to media hyperbole I can't see a manager of that stature, with all that attacking talent and a cheque book you could floor a Rhinoceros with putting up with his posturing myself. Shades of Yaya?

What are you going to do Weisenwolf? I sense that it pains you to take a price drop on any player.

Your senses do you credit and I am in painPaulista wrote:What are you going to do Weisenwolf? I sense that it pains you to take a price drop on any player.
my strategy is to take all the hits first half and then play the sensible 2nd half with a tidy TV.
Trouble is one cannot be too liberal in burning the TV otherwise why have it? It's a bit of bad luck to have 3 non players and 3 possible non players but I can't deal with that by accepting the hits and the TV loss. So I'll just take the hits I guess
I don't think this is my plan dead and buried but is is a setback. Hey-Ho if it was easy I wouldn't bother playing
If Chez gets a hatty who cares whether Bellerin was fit

Well Costa went down & Giroud went up.
It's remarkable how few didn't rise or fall; tomorrow will be interesting

Re: Price changes
Benteke went down despite being only at about 80% around midnight, with an hourly drop of well under 1%. Meanwhile Zaha didn't drop, despite looking certain to do so. I understand the latter could be because of WCs, but I don't understand Benteke's drop. :/

Re: Price changes
Don't get me wrong, I can totally understand why people have been selling him, I just don't understand why he fell last night when he was nowhere near 100% and his transfers out had slowed down to just a trickle.Weisenwolf wrote:Hmm he's blanked for 5 weeks; perhaps it's not so difficult to understand

I was checking FPLS last night and he was well over the 100% line all evening. I seem to remember he was only third behind Costa and Mane.

Re: Price changes
Aha, I was looking at FFF, need to remember to check both. Not that I would have removed him anyway, but it was a disappointing surprise.Paulista wrote:I was checking FPLS last night and he was well over the 100% line all evening. I seem to remember he was only third behind Costa and Mane.

Why is Giroud rising? Was the injury not that serious in the end?

Re: Price changes
It doesn't appear that the injury is serious as he was able to continue playing into the second half, albeit for 14 minutes. But we probably won't really know more news until Wenger's press conference next Friday.Resonare wrote:Why is Giroud rising? Was the injury not that serious in the end?

Also, he'll be rising partially based on transfers this morning when people woke up to the Costa news.

I think the only player guaranteed to rise tonight is probably Kane and to drop is Costa.

Re: Price changes
That'd be nice. When I brought Kane was 0.4 more expensive. At this rate even he could be double that and more by the time I reverse the purchase (if I do).Weisenwolf wrote:I think the only player guaranteed to rise tonight is probably Kane and to drop is Costa.

Probably a few knee-jerks to Lukaku after today's games.Weisenwolf wrote:Aguero is now dropping rapidly
Next week against Spurs could be a very open game, end to end stuff, and after next week, Man City have West Ham, Bournemouth, and Swansea, so he could score very well in those games.
