I thought Matip was fully clear to play as he wasn't in the final squad. Assume(d) same for Nyom....

Not being funny, but how has no-one mentioned Costa being benched?

Edit. That'll teach me not checking other threads.

Currently have, Ake, Bellerin, Brunt, Barnes and Costa unlikely to play this GW. This is like some bad Jackson 5 song.

They may have flown back, but need the paper work to clear them to platy, else an automatic ban\suspension - I believe.

(In other words Nation has to say they don't want them so they can play. They flew back a fair few days ago?)

Barnes will play today. Small comfort, I know, but it's something.

I don't even know why Barnes was flagged, there's been no indication of any injury and he came off the bench to play the last 20 minutes of last weekend's FA Cup tie.

I've brought him in with my wildcard this week, looks like he's Dyche's preferred partner for Gray at the moment.

I see Ben Dinnery has said Bellerin should be fit, and that Arsenal are optimistic Giroud will be fit , both for this weekend's game

Koeman says Leighton Baines is struggling a bit with his rib but should hopefully be ok.
I just brought him in so he better be!

That'll be a minimum of 4 weeks out, according to the Ronald Convertor.

And the Baines multiplier.

I've been burnt by Baines injuries too many times, including immediately after my WC earlier this season. He's my fpl nemesis.

I hope not I've got him and Bellerin; if only I had gone Alonso/Rose instead

Sorry people, I brought in Baines a couple of days ago. Jinx.

Anyone need Coutinho injured again? I'm tempted to do a Lallana swap.

Looks like Snodgrass will miss the Chelsea game with an "injury".

Must be his West Ham-string.

Apparently they are signing Fonte, too.

Bloody Snodgrass! I guess de Roon gets his monthly run out then.

I was planning on Snodgrass --> Pedro next week if all goes well, but could have done with him this week.

West Brom have a press conference today according to BBC which is unusual because they're not in the League Cup or even the FA Cup on the weekend, so I assume they are announcing a new signing?

Klopp says that Lallana won't be risked tomorrow due to a cut that needed stitches. No yellow flag yet......
