He would have been a dead cert of a pick for me and would have funded Ozil in midfield. :(.
I didn't know, but I took that exact risk anyway
reckless ;)
and Ozil has been a pale Sanchez poorman's placeholder anyway... :?

Ah great, just what I need. Hope it's the final game as the benched keeper comes in but it's not going to be is it. Just another blow to the bench boost!

Sadly, it's this GW - De Gea did not travel to Southampton.

It's worse than that:

"Third-choice stopper Joel Pereira is believed to be in line to start the final league fixture on Sunday meaning De Gea may have played his last game this season and perhaps his final match in a United shirt."

Mourinho confirming the earlier DDG GW38 absence rumour:

"I hope to play Joel Pereira against Crystal Palace this weekend & hope to play Sergio Romero in the final."

Pretty shitty to not give DDG the last game, if he is indeed on his way

couldn't find any mention about it here in FPL forum (nor in the... "injuries" one  or anywhere else in FISO)
nor on FFS tweets, or injury page
nor browsing the club site

or twitter https://twitter.com/SpursOfficial/
and not even googlin davies injury

so I wonder...
is he better at searching?
insider source?
just taunting his sidegame rivals? (i.e. fake news?)
he got the wrong Davies? (I see some Willy Twiston-Davies :o got injured in Cheltenham in march...)

Ha ha - yes, as I said there - twas full back confusion.

Davies is the only fit full back and is fit - I got him mixed up with Walker, Rose and Trippier who are all out. Sorry, nothing to see here.

Nothing like a few alternative facts to start a Thursday. Whooops. :D

whew! :x

it's my only differential left in 5AS H2H vs BadBoys' snakzz, which could decide the whole tie in last gameweek,
and I'd need him to outscore Alli by 8p...

we could then talk now about your Willy Twiston in the morning :P

Hughes: "Marko Arnautovic is our main doubt - he has a bang on the elbow, but the other lads should be ok".

Pulis: "We've got a couple of knocks and bruises from the other day. The majority of them should be fine to travel to Swansea".

Bilic: "Winston Reid is good. He had an operation and will be out for ten weeks, so he'll be ready for the start of next season.''

LATE FIRMINO CALL

Roberto Firmino remains a doubt for Liverpool's final game against Middlesbrough on Sunday

"No decision until now but he's good. He's not been part of team training yet but we will make a final decision tomorrow."

Jose Mourinho suggested he could field several youngsters against Crystal Palace, with both eyes on Wednesday's Europa League final and he is doing just that.

Joel Pereira, Kieran O'Hara, Demetri Mitchell, Josh Harrop, Angel Gomes, Scott McTominay. Tomothy Fosu-Mensah and Axel Tuanzebe will all be involved plus "three or four first team players".

More team news from Jose Mourinho, who adds: "Chris Smalling has a small problem for Sunday, he will be fine for Wednesday.

"Paul Pogba is fine. Strong guy. Strong mentality. He needs to play on Sunday."

Mourinho is waiting on for the results of scans for Marouane Fellaini, while Wayne Rooney will probably not play.

On playing a number of youth players against Palace, he added: "To play so many kids at the same time, honestly, I don't think is good.

"I think they really need my support, Nicky Butt's and supporters to understand difficult job they have. It'll not be easy for them."

Wenger: “Oxlade-Chamberlain still not back. Koscielny will have a test today, Ramsey is alright.”

Koeman: "No changes. It will be the same squad as last week."

Mourinho suggests that Rooney will "probably not" feature vs Palace on Sunday.

Mourinho also reveals that Pogba and Fosu-Mensah will feature vs Palace. Smalling and Fellaini doubtful.

Shakespeare: "Andy King trained today which is a plus for us. I'm expecting everyone who played last night to be fit for Sunday".

Mee and Keane remain doubts for Burnley's clash with West Ham, says Dyche.

No injury concerns for Chelsea, says Conte.

Conte says he is keen to help Courtois win the Golden Gloves, with Chelsea hosting Sunderland on Sunday.

Conte refuses to be drawn on whether Terry will start vs Sunderland - "It will be a surprise.''

Long ruled out for Southampton's clash with Stoke. Cedric and Bertrand both doubts, says Puel.

So we still have absolutely no idea whether the key players like Hazard, Costa, Alonso etc will figure in the last game or not. On the one hand, with FA Cup Final coming up, you'd normally expect them to be rested, but with several having been rested last game, and with Conte perhaps wanting to have a big home celebration on the last game having won the title, he might well play them. That's annoying. :/

PS: RE: Terry, "It will be a surprise" surely translates to "He will definitely play"... :?:

He will, but will he start or come on in the 88th minute to get his applause?

Local reports say Sunderland pair Kone and Ndong sustained dead legs in midweek loss to Arsenal.

Leicester say both Huth and Morgan "are unlikely to be ready" to face Bournemouth on Sunday.

Must be a good option anyway with Fuchs and Benalouane at CB again presumably?

Terry starts and gets brought off in 85th minute after missing a penalty that Hazard lets him take.

That's that then, Terry to replace Costa up front.
