Robbie Brady for me is a good alternative think he could be a bit of sleeper and Sunderland up next.

This, for me, is probably the theme of the season... managers (Pulis in particular) being somewhat disingenuous about the probable length of absence with injuries.
hamstring in general is at least 2-3 wks recovery. Anything less than this should be regarded as a pleasant surprise. So the fact that your surprised about pulis's comment is the biggest surprise of all

Pep has just won Premier League Manager of the Month!

Some here might quarrel with that achievement...

They won all three of their games in February so no complaints from me.

 At least it's definitive though and now we can sell him and get on with our lives. What a waste it was keeping for the blank, only to end up having to remove him for a hit

Curtis Davies is back for Hull tomorrow although I'm not sure if he goes straight back into the team.

Haven't watched much Hull, how has the Ranocchia / Maguire partnership been?

At least we have definitive news on Phillips now. Will become a West Ham bod, for me.

Full Klopp quote:

“Roberto played 90 minutes against Arsenal and then he felt the muscle a little bit,” he added.

“At first we thought it was normal with how you feel sometimes after a game with the intensity and especially because Roberto actually never has anything wrong.

“But we thought when he mentions something then maybe it is not that simple and since then we have had to leave him out. It is not a big thing but it will be close for Sunday.”

Francis is still out. How irritating. That's Phillips and Francis now just in a week I'd have taken a single point off each!

Looks like I'm down to 9 then if all the others play. (-8 hit)

Both players have been excellent. Would be extremely harsh on either to be ousted yet. Maguire also offers a monster goal threat, probably the biggest in the league for a defender.

What is a German accent? As one who saw a lot of war movies during my post-war childhood, a German accent tends to bring to mind phoney Nazi generals etc, not the voice of Herr Klopp.

Klopp quote from yesterday on Firmino:

"He's not ready today. We hope he should be OK, be part of training for Man City.

"But for today there was not enough time."

According to Everton's official site: "Baines should be fit for Hull."

Somewhere else: "Times' correspondent Paul Joyce revealed on his personal Twitter account that Baines will be fit to face Hull."

From Swansea's Official website:

"The Swans have been boosted by news that Fernando Llorente (dead leg) and Kyle Naughton (hamstring) should both be fit to feature at Bournemouth.

But Martin Olsson is set to miss the Cherries clash with the ankle problem he suffered at Hull, with Clement revealing that Stephen Kingsley will start at left-back on the South Coast.
“Fernando is okay, he is training with the group, as is Kyle Naughton,” he added."

Good news on Baines and Llorente then! Was starting to get worried it would either have to be hits central or an enforced early wildcard!

Klopp: "Hendo no chance, Sturridge no chance, Firmino didn't train with team so far, but should either today or tomorrow."
Can someone explain to me what is going on and why is Klopp lying to us?

In this photo he wasn't taking part in a group session. He's wearing running shoes (in the larger version of this pic).

Unconfirmed but there is a suggestion that Eden Hazard has NOT travelled with the rest of the Chelsea squad to Stoke. #CFC

Probably worth taking a mental note that Dinnery had this right. I mean, it's basically his job (somehow) to report on injuries so you'd think he would be ITK but it's probably worth trying to keep track of roughly how often he's correct in situations like that.
