Greetings all.
Need to bench one of Stanislas (Watford H), Phillips (Sunderland H), Lallana (Swansea H) or Defoe (West Brom A).
Any takers?

I know
You can add Eriksen to that list too if that makes it easier (which I don't think it does).

Still undecided between Alli (mcy), Stanislas (WAT), Phillips (SUN) - Those playing are Sanchez, Pedro, Giroud, Zlatan, Aguero.
Currently benching Alli as I just feel he is least likely to get a haul with the fixture.

I would not be benching Alli, given his potential to do significant damage, combined with how weak City looked at the back last week. It would probably be Phillips for me, but no real reason, just a gut feeling.Arsenal4EvERr wrote:Still undecided between Alli (mcy), Stanislas (WAT), Phillips (SUN) - Those playing are Sanchez, Pedro, Giroud, Zlatan, Aguero.

Unfortunately wasted it earlier in the season otherwise I would be using it. Playing Baines, Yoshida and Daniels.redcat1 wrote:KTBFFH and Arsenal4EvERr hows you defence ? is All Out Attack chip an option ?

Re: Who To Bench Thread 2016/17
I have:
Bellerin
Baines
Brunt
Daniels
Chambers
My instinct is to play the three B's but FFF is recommending I bench Baines & Brunt
Does this make sense to anyone?

Re: Who To Bench Thread 2016/17
It's a poor algorithm then; they are more likely to play than not play and if they don't they get subbed. Seems a very unsophisticated bit of code if it can't deal with the mechanics of the game.djskope wrote:Flags - FFF algorithm thinks they are injured.Weisenwolf wrote: My instinct is to play the three B's but FFF is recommending I bench Baines & Brunt

Re: Who To Bench Thread 2016/17
that's really tough, I 'd definitely play Bellerin and Brunt, and I'd be tempted to play Daniels above Baines. Everton are playing well but in recent away games they have shipped two v Hull and three v Watford, I think Palace will score and I think Daniels can match his attacking potential so I'd bench Baines and Chambers.Weisenwolf wrote:I have:

Re: Who To Bench Thread 2016/17
It looks like a good transfer so the issue has to be the hit. They both have a decent fixture this week from a strikers perspective so it has to be about whether Lukaku will score 4 more than Negredo. I'm not sure whether he will but as the Toffees have just hit their season defining run and whether the math tells us whether he will earn +4 or not probability suggests he ought to earn a bit more so I would go for ittarkens wrote:as is Negredo -> Lukaku (-4) for meWeisenwolf wrote:Thanks to tarkens too; it's a cunundrum for me.
as it avoids having to do it when Negredo's fixtures go down hill.

Re: Who To Bench Thread 2016/17
looking at various bookmakers and Bournemouth are around 7/5 for the clean sheet and Everton 15/8Weisenwolf wrote:That's an interesting perspective Gambit ,thank you, I will have to consider carefully.Gambit wrote:that's really tough, I 'd definitely play Bellerin and Brunt, and I'd be tempted to play Daniels above Baines. for goal scorer Daniels is 4/1 and Baines 6/1
Obviously this doesn't take into account assists/bonus but Daniels is shorter odds than Baines for both a clean sheet and a goal

Re: Who To Bench Thread 2016/17
to be fair their fixtures go down hill only from GW33, until then they only have 2 tough games... the problem is Negredo only had 13 shots on target in 20 apps this is shocking for a strikerWeisenwolf wrote:It looks like a good transfer so the issue has to be the hit. Re: Who To Bench Thread 2016/17
Yea but he's a wildcard in that respect; his conversion rate is not too shabby. There are lots of stats about shots on target and opportunities and so on but unless they result in goals does this matter? It does in the first few weeks but less as the season goes on.tarkens wrote:to be fair their fixtures go down hill only from GW33, until then they only have 2 tough games... the problem is Negredo only had 13 shots on target in 20 apps this is shocking for a strikerWeisenwolf wrote:It looks like a good transfer so the issue has to be the hit.
