Re: Who To Bench Thread 2016/17
I'm benching Monreal from the same 3 plus Stephens as I think that Everton could pinch a goal, while Stoke and Hull may not. But it is a close call.PokerGod1900 wrote:Bench one:

Re: Who To Bench Thread 2016/17
Do I bench Heaton or Caballero?
The odds say 3.5 and 2.1 for clean sheets, respectively. But it feels much closer than that! Plus my ML rival will be playing Heaton and I'm protecting a 6 point lead...

I'd probably plau Heaton to block. Clean Sheets are a total bingo game in GW38 anywayelliot wrote:Do I bench Heaton or Caballero?

I'd play Clichy, spread the risk.Arsenal4EvERr wrote:Do I play Stephens or Clichy? (Already playing Yoshida)
Still torn between Clichy and Davies myself, with one vote to Davies so far (from Jocki).

Yeah. City are capable of conceding in every game at anytime.Notned wrote:I'd play Clichy, spread the risk.Arsenal4EvERr wrote:Do I play Stephens or Clichy? (Already playing Yoshida)

They were lucky not to concede against Palace, they didn't got a clean sheet against Leicester and didn't against West Brom either. Those are their last three games - all at home - in which they were very much pulling the strings. Especially the last game was a kick in the teeth for me and lots of others (Caballero) with a late unexpected consolation goal.
Spurs on the other hand are defensively very well organized.

I'd also play Davies from those two Notned. Spurs defence is better than City's and Watford have better strikers than Hull.

The monreal benchers can't have watched the last game, he was unlucky not to score
