Does that make the decision any easier?

WHam looked pants going forward vs Bournemouth, btw. But then some of their forwards may be back, obviously not Carroll, bit Slaven has been positive about Lanzini and Payet, but they may have been in a back not as long as we feared kinda way, rather than starting this weekend. (I know that doesn't actually help much :? )

I have three outfield players in my squad that I doubt will score more than two points at most for me this weekend, which are: Gray, Ramírez and Friend.

Which one of those players should I field, because my other sub, Amat, is unlikely to gain a clean-sheet (so he’s my third-choice sub)?

I would certainly play Gray.
The fixture isn't great but he has a great potential.
I' ll play him myself over Friend.

There is still my dilemma of Deulofeu vs Capoue that no one has had an opinion about it.

Should I play Negredo away to West Brom or McAuley at home to Middlesbrough? This one feels like a coin toss, it's really difficult for me to make up my mind on it.

While I don't believe Capoue's run can last, at the moment I feel at least he is more likely to start. I think Deulofeu is soon to be ousted from the Everton starting lineup, with Bolasie certain to take his spot. While Deulofeu can be explosive, a minimum 2 points has got to be worth more than picking a player destined for the bench.

I'd go with Negredo, has proved useful in both games so far, while West Brom looked anything but capable of a clean sheet against Everton.

Ta, I'll go with Negredo then.

Bench one of the following-

Townsend, Williams, Morgan, Stones.

Townsend has been very average so far but with a good fixture. I think all three defenders have a chance of doing well though?

Capoue vs. Kingsley/Amat? Tricksy one. Any news on Capoue's knock?

Williams imo.

Capoue. Great form, and If he's fit to play then he will start and likely play the 90. I don't think Swansea will keep a CS vs Leicester (A).

Also, can we all go back to the setup where we answer a question and then ask one?

I'd go Capoue; if he doesn't start you will get 1st sub instead.

Team for this GW is currently:

Foster
Morgan, Valencia, Stones
Capoue, Redmond, Hazard, Mane
Aguero, Ibra, Gray

Subs: Jakupovic, Snodgrass, McAuley, Friend

Look good?

Have to play one of:
Friend (assuming fit)
Capoue
Gray

FFS projection has Friend the highest and I am leaning towards him assuming he´ll be cleared fit to play. But I am fairly clueless though. Thoughts?

Friend getting a CS is a lot more likely than a Gray's goal away to Chelsea. Capoue's two goals was pure luck, I doubt he will score more than 5 goals until the end of the season.

However, Friend's 'calf injury' is risky - do we know more about it?

Given that Capoue scored two in preseason, I disagree re. 'pure luck'. Fact is he's been playing as LW now (heatmaps prove this), a role which he hasn't played before (AFAIK). Not expecting him to score at this rate, obviously, but *pure* luck is an overstatement.

Also, I'd play Gray ahead of Friend but that's just me.

I'd play Capoue and Gray over Friend too, esp with all the injury talk.

Does everyone think Gray will start this weekend? I would personally consider Snodgrass over Capoue myself since he's a more consistent FPL scorer over the years. Tough choice though, all the rest look good.

This is my squad, although I am considering Gray to Rondon.

Foster
Valencia, Van Dijk, McAuley
Firmino, Capoue, Mahrez, Redmond
Aguero, Ibra, Gray

Subs: Jakupovic, Stones, Deulofeu, Friend

Really tough choices this week. Stones could plausibly oust McAuley, and Deulofeu could come in for Capoue. Worried about Deulofeu's gametime though. Think I want to give Firmino one more chance, if I recall correctly he is the type of player to blank against Burnley but get 2 goals away at a team like Tottenham, much like unpredictable Liverpool in general.

Capoue vs Arsenal defence
Snodgrass vs Man U defence

That's the only reason I've gone Capoue over Snodgrass. I could bench Gray and play both though - Twitter debacle could affect him and it's Chelsea.

Noticed you're doubling up on WBA?

Yeah, currently. part of it is that I'm tired of seeing McAuley points on the bench. West Ham are yet to get going for some reason but I still see them as having more threat than Middlesbrough. McAuley also has a bit more goal threat and less likely to get a yellow than Stones is also part of my thinking.
