He said he was watching in the pub, which is where I'm going now (not the same one!).

We weren't unlucky, we were crap and Barton was an absolute embarrassment.

It's the first time in a Burnley shirt though.

Heard the snivelling rat tried to get a non-league keeper sent off with playacting.

I hope he's turf(moor)ed out of the club.

Couldn't believe what I was watching when the argy bargy stuff started. You must be really frustrated that your players basically sank to their level, albeit an incredible achievement for Lincoln!

Does this mean that Liverpool v Burnley goes ahead in Week 28 then? Makes Mane my preferred Sanchez replacement if so.

I have had half an eye on it for the last 30 mins - and they have deserved to lose.

Did you watch? They have been bad for most of the season, outside the CL, and that Citeh match.

Same here. Leicester this upcoming GW might make a nice starter.

If Arsenal somehow go out they would have Leicester in GW28. Sanchez would be a great hold for that fixture. Mane likely to rise tonight though and you'd think Arsenal can't lose.

Really need the rest of the Prem teams to win, else there are fewer advantages to the planners, which I consider myself one (of many round here).

Oh I know that but it's still incredible, zero to hero to zero, you would think a handful of players would have a go, for pride or to avoid relegation or get a better pay cheque for their next club, but they are awful across the board.

I'm amazed there aren't psychology students studying them; it's barmy

Not barmy at all, I have been referencing Ipswich's demise from a ridiculously good first season in the Prem for a while. there are so many similarities it is incredible - although Leicester aren't doing quite that bad. (Deluded players thinking they are now "TOP players, when they are mediocre to 5hite, so they stop running around like they did last season; then some confidence goes, without denting the former, and scoring in a Brothel becomes impossible; too many new players; the manager doesn't know his best team or formation.... oh then the "too good to go down"...

For an outlandish coincidence: how are they doing in the Fair Play thing and is an EL spot open for that?

I must admit that passed me bye, my nan lived for many years in Felixstowe so 'we' adopted the Tractor Boys for a while and went to some games. My wee brothers best pal from college is one of the same but I've not followed the demise. I'm reminded of the Leeds thing although I can't recall the deatails. It occurs to me that some of these phenomena are just overachievement being 'corrected'.

That does read pretty sad doesn't it....

Anyway whilst I don't approve of multiple club fanship, I would happily shake Poachers hand for today's heroic performance :D

Weren't Leeds skint (almost Bankrupt) following a failure to reach the CL, and O'Leary sold the wrong players kinda thing?

Psychology students study people with brains; footballers and their managers do not qualify.

I wonder what language they speak at Craven Cottage right now.

Twenty-one different nationalities including their managers. That is a lot.
