Re: Transfers GW37
Özil -> Fabregas
Monreal -> Smalling or Cresswell (which would you prefer if money was no issue?)
Which sort of bugs me since that'll leave Townsend (avl) on the bench and get rid of two Arsenal prior their Villa fixture.
Or I could do omething really cheeky like:
Aguero -> Costa or Defoe
Simpson -> Smalling or Cresswell
Aguero to Defoe would free funds to a final transfer of getting Sanchez in for GW38 captain.
Edit: Or even Aguero to Martial/Rooney/Carroll and Simpson to Cresswell/Smalling. A lot of options it seems!
Decisions, decisions! Holding until Friday though.

So much depends on what happens tonight and then in the European games, but probably Payet and a Chelsea attacker in. Will wait until the end of the week though.

Have two free but will be making three. I think Ozil and Alli need to go but basically can't decide which three out of the following to put in
Carroll, Defoe, Deeney, Fab, Hazard or Pedro
Carroll, Defoe, Deeney, Fab, Hazard or Pedro

Re: Transfers GW37
My Liverpool contingent have caused me nothing but headaches since my wildcard, and kinda wish Liverpool just go through so I can ship all of them.
A provisional Coutinho Chelsea mid, most likely Fabregas/Hazard, Milner Brady/Townsend, and maybe Mignolet Mannone. All for a -8.
If Liverpool go out then I have no idea

Re: Transfers GW37
watching Chelsea and Liverpool this week to decide if any are to be brought in for the DGW, may also drop Bellerin for a DGW defender, will be end of the week before I decide on anything, have a little banked so price rises/falls shouldn't impact on any changes.

Just done Robles to Howard, he was back in the starting line-up at the weekend and looks a stonking option for my bench boost in this DGW.

Re: Transfers GW37
Might backfire? Howard probably started the *home* fixture at Goodison since he is about to leave Everton. He probably will start the final home fixture too, but the DGW are both away and Robles has been the no. 1 keeper for some time now.Valeron wrote:Just done Robles to Howard, he was back in the starting line-up at the weekend and looks a stonking option for my bench boost in this DGW.

Howard was only to play in the Home games so should only be playing in GW38Valeron wrote:Just done Robles to Howard, he was back in the starting line-up at the weekend and looks a stonking option for my bench boost in this DGW.

Iwobi, Otamendi and Alli out in prep for BB. No firm idea of who to get in - probably Ogbanna or Reid and possibly Milner if Liverpool lose on Thursday. Fab is also on the list but I can't do both Fab & Milner unless I dump one of Kane or Aguero.

Ozil Chelsea mid.
Possibly Kane or Kun to a DGW striker but unsure yet.

Tempted by Redmond as a leftfield punt, can see him getting the rub of the green at some point and scoring a hat-trick!

Re: Transfers GW37
If you're gonna go for a Norwich leftfield punt then go for Brady. Alex Neil has form for benching Redmond fairly regularly, at the bemusement of most of us fansflare2 wrote:Tempted by Redmond as a leftfield punt, can see him getting the rub of the green at some point and scoring a hat-trick!
He did well against Arsenal but you have been warned.

Probably Fosu-Mensah Rojo/Valencia/Smalling and maybe transfer in another DGW player.
Made a big mistake by getting Fosu for a hit a few GW's ago.

Re: Transfers GW37
OK, so struggling for finance - one possibility would be to bring in Antonio but that would mean 3 WH attacking players (already have Carroll and Payet) - overkill? Alternative maybe Brady who I like as a player but I don't have any confidence in Norwich at the moment.

I might do Ramsey Fabs if Fabs looks good tonight. Either that or roll over.

To be a bit more detailed, my tentative plan is/was one of the following;Notned wrote:So much depends on what happens tonight and then in the European games, but probably Payet and a Chelsea attacker in. Will wait until the end of the week though.
Sanchez and Mahrez Hazard/Pedro and Payet
or
Sanchez and Aguero/Kane Payet and Costa
Just about favouring the latter right now, swayed by Hazard's benching tonight, but there's a long way to go yet, with a few more scenario's under consideration too. Liverpool and City's line ups and results in Europe will also have a big bearing.

The stats are dark and full of errors.
Re: Transfers GW37
If Chelsea play well today I may bring in a full compliment of Chelsea players. Otherwise it will likely be Smalling as planned.

Just need to work out who to replace Coutinho with, the frontrunner being Fabregas. If Spurs lose/draw tonight then Kane Carroll/Sturridge looks a good move.
I just can't work out what I want to do.

Do you think Sturridge will play both games of GW37 if they get through in the Europa League?Canary94 wrote:Gonna bench Mignolet and keep Milner I think.Canary94 wrote:My Liverpool contingent have caused me nothing but headaches since my wildcard, and kinda wish Liverpool just go through so I can ship all of them.

Re: Transfers GW37
He won't get 180 but I'd like to think he would get around 120ish which would be enough to tempt me. He's started 6 of the last 7 games scoring 5 in the process. Would probably get a rest for GW38 if they progress. Carroll would be the safer bet but Sturridge has potential to absolutely explode in the DGW.Joccki_10 wrote:Do you think Sturridge will play both games of GW37 if they get through in the Europa League?Canary94 wrote:Gonna bench Mignolet and keep Milner I think.Canary94 wrote:My Liverpool contingent have caused me nothing but headaches since my wildcard, and kinda wish Liverpool just go through so I can ship all of them.

Re: Transfers GW37
May be facing a quick about turn on those tentative plans I was speaking of. All of a sudden Sunderland and Liverpool away doesn't look all that appealing for Chelsea, nor does trying to predict their team if they rotate as a result of this evening.

I do own Cresswell, Lanzini and Payet. So Carroll isn't really an option for me.Canary94 wrote:He won't get 180 but I'd like to think he would get around 120ish which would be enough to tempt me. Ahhh fair play.
If you're looking for a striker then Sturridge or Defoe would be my picks.
Although it'd be daft to get rid of Kane based on tonight and I'm too scared to ditch Aguero.
