Agüero (c) Firmino (v)
Can see City and Liverpool bossing these fixtures, and both managers have said they will field strong teams.

Interesting. You have Kane but you are not even considering him?Carlos Kickaball wrote:Agüero (c) Firmino (v)

Carlos Kickaball wrote:I think this is the first captaincy for a while where I've felt like there are multiple options, surprised people are hardly mentioning Sánchez and Firmino.
Agüero [STK] - Plum home fixture, they need to win for top 4.
Sánchez [sun] - Surprised no one has mentioned him, no cup competitions, must win.
Kane [WBA] - Nailed on striker for the best team in the league, still chasing the title.
Firmino [NEW] - An attacking team, at home, to Newcastle; If we knew he'd play 90 and most owned him I think we'd be talking a lot more about him as a candidate.
I wouldn't be amazed if any of those got a haul this week.

Well excuse me for not having all your posts bookmarked I know you have mineCarlos Kickaball wrote: I wouldn't be amazed if any of those got a haul this week.
Good analysis though. I don't have Kane so I hope you are right that Aguero is a better captain pick. I would really fancy Kane blanking.

me neither, so I'm going with kick off times!llama wrote:Just can't decide between Kun and Kane.

City are the early Saturday game and Spurs are Monday night, having the Monday night captain is something to look forward, and there is nothing worse than an early Saturday captain who doesn't score well.
Kane it is.

There's nothing better than your early Saturday captain smashing it and knowing it's going to be a good week before the 3 o'clocks have even kicked off!

Re: GW35 Captain Poll
Considering Mahrez, he seems to score independent of Vardy and Leicester need to win so expect Mahrez to be in the points. If Swansea conceded 3 against Newcastle I'd think they may struggle against Leciester.

This. I don't think Aguero will be benched but there is a serious doubt worth considering. That doubt means it's Kane all day long.Moist von Lipwig wrote:Stemania wrote:Am still perhaps leaning ever so slightly towards Kane (Kun) simply because of the minutes each is most likely to play.
I've been on this all week.
I'm surprised that I've not really seen it mentioned, bus no one else concerned Aguero may get the whole day off this weekend and not just reduced minutes. They play Madrid on Tuesday, if I was Pellegrini I wouldn't give a **** about qualifying for the CL next year and go for it now and not risk any injuries prior to the semi final.

Besides, Mahrez did score a hattrick against the Swans earlier this season.flare2 wrote:Considering Mahrez, he seems to score independent of Vardy and Leicester need to win so expect Mahrez to be in the points. If Swansea conceded 3 against Newcastle I'd think they may struggle against Leciester.

Re: GW35 Captain Poll
Having made "safe" transfers I'm tempted by Sanzhez captaincy this week for a bit of a gamble.
Bang in form like the others, but only 5% fancy him. Possibly mad, possibly the differential I need....

I dont know who to captain
I have Aguero, Sanchez and Kane
Currently sitting on Kane and Aguero (VC)
League leader has Sanchez and has captained him back to back weeks now

all could do well, I don't think there is one stand out choice, I'm expecting a few players to score decent points this GWwizardoffire wrote:I dont know who to captain

With all four of CK's prospects in my team, plus KdB, that itself should differentiate enough if Kane turns out to be the wrong choice

Doesn't affect me but is Ulloa on pens ahead of Mahrez if both are on the pitch?

I'm going for Kane (C), Aguero (V). It seems Aguero will start but it's safe to assume he'll get subbed around the hour mark if they get a two goal lead, in which he may not be involved at all.

Between Kane and Aguero and now the gane is back to normal I'm not as concerned about getting it right ... compare to last week TC between Ozil/Aguero that thankfully I guessed ok.
Kane is where the armband sits now...

Re: GW35 Captain Poll
Bet 365 odds
Aguero 4/7 to score at any time 12/5 to score two or more
Kane 4/6 at any time 3/1 two or more
Sanchez 13/10 at any time 13/2 two or more
By the way I believe odds normally price in the presumption that a player will play the game (because your money is refunded if they don't). So the above does not say "bookmakers think Aguero won't be rested" but "Aguero is dangerous if picked"

Always hate captaining a player in a Saturday lunchtime game for the reasons of early disappointment so Kane it is.

Hmmm... thanks for sharing. I might consider switching my vice captain with Kane absolutely nailed, but I am inclined to think Pellegrini has said the league is important and will play a strong team.
Guess we'll see if it's true or not in time.
